QUOTE(nexona88 @ May 25 2016, 11:23 PM) got "insider help".. that's why they know who to aim / target based on my personal observation. it's always those who withdraw above 50k cash.. like tis case 100k cash and don't tell me its "teh" bank that she withdraw from Poor soul. She should have gone for banker's cheque instead but of course nobody would have thought that was going to happen. I agree that it could be done by someone she knows. Or it could be that these people had been monitoring people inside the bank and jump right at it when the opportunity came.

QUOTE(twinkle5129 @ May 29 2016, 09:49 PM) From what I heard at ASNB recently, the investor was told he can withdraw only 10k at ASNB at one time but he can withdraw more at banks. It is because there is a limit imposed for cash withdrawal at ASNB branch. There is also a limit imposed for cash withdrawal at Pos Office. This is nothing new as this policy has been in place for yonks. Of all the agent banks, one bank also imposed a limit on the amount of cash you can withdraw from your ASNB account but I forgot which bank already. I posted the name of the bank a few years ago. You may be able to find it in one of the old threads Anyway, if my memory serves me correctly, the bank with the cash limit is CIMB Bank. RHB Bank is definitely unlimited. But if it is more than RM1 million you better check if that particular branch has enough cash.
