Planning to open CIMB account next week as the staff are very helpful now that they have seen me more often. I hit ASM & ASW 5 digits jack pot with them at each trip.
They also suggested same method. Luckily they're not as busy as MB and still very close to my home.

Remember to open BSA. That way, bank cannot charge you rm8.48 for atm card.

Basic savings account. A account which all banks in malaysia will offer for free. Downside is limited atm withdrawal but no problem with over the counter transactions.

OTC limit imposed on ASNB as well? I think not right? I can just go CIMB without having account with them and do ASNB.

For OTC, limit max is rm50k/day (cash)
For OTC, I don't think there's a limit (bank account)

When you go to counter to update your ASB book, any types of them will require a change in the book.

It is free for the change to a new book fortunately. Then I managed to masuk another 5000 units in AS1M account.

i dont think cimb bsa offers any online service. To have online access, you will need an atm card...

Like i have one current cimb account wt an atm card so i can access it online.
