Which one more, ASW or AS1M?

Sometimes it is branch management problem. I have been to banks with top notch service in the past but when I went there after 1 or 2 years, the service fall from top to bottom. Staff reshuffling and change of the branch manager I think can cause a branch to be very bad.

Some bank teller don't like to do ASX transaction I think because increase their time, system slow (some people say the new ASX system now much slower than old system- how strange). No staff commission for ASX - I think. And if problem, may need to file paperwork etc. Worse is sometimes do too many transaction can cause risk of miscalculating - like happened with Aunty Twinkle where the staff balance their account and cannot tally - all bad mood and blame it on customer.

I read you top up ASW and AS1M right? You split 50-50?

In theory do you guys think quota (ASW, AS1M) or quota-less (ASM) funds is easier to get?

My analysis is since non-bumi is less likely to sell off unit than bumi, mayba quota-less fund easier to get (ASM) - since eg Chinese can buy units which bumi sells off? But then again, bumi already have ASB so they may not buy much ASM..

You mean what things they invest in accord. to the prospectus?

For As1m, people here say AS1M is less received because of bad naming -1M.

Selling on which day to ensure interest is calculated/included for the selling amount, is it last day of current month or first day of following month?

As mentioned, interest calculated on lowest balance of the month, if say 1000u inside on 1-jun, if take out 200u on 2-jun (balance 800u), then on 3-jun put back 200u (balance become 1000u again). But lowest balance means 800u correct? dividend only for 800u for the month..

Normally how do you guys adjust ratio for 3 funds if not balanced? Like 1 fund a lot and another fund very little. Assuming not topping up new units..

What I mean is how to average it out if 1 fund has a lot and another fund is very little? I guess only way is withdraw out from the larger fund and try luck for the fund which you have less right? That is if assuming not topping up fresh money. But then again why bother the effort right.

Ya not worth the effort I think.

Always fail to get unit this way. Who wants to topup? Hmm... Wasting RM 1.06 most of the time.

Btw, Maybank2u very bad user interface for ASX online. Cannot check status of subscription whether success or not. Need to depend on refund or go bank update passbook. And they call it ASNB - Payment. Not very accurate terms also.

Last time we made theory here that ASX topup online is done after 5pm or midnight... I wonder true or not...? Or maybe it is instant transfer to ASNB at the time you submit topup, then they check for units instantly...

Hehe.. everyone satisfied already after the mega topup I guess.. Also too many stories of hunting scared later get reported by unknown people..

Btw, today I saw a Chinese aunty do transaction for Gray book. What fund is that? She looks like very confident in that investment. I think must be VP fund.

Do you guys know why that day got "Mega" sales? I did some analysis. Is probably because the whole of Sarawak is offline last 2 days for public holiday. You guys have less of ONE State's competition for 2 days..

And also school holidays and start of Ramadhan month.. Maybe Malays withdrawing to spend for Raya preparations... Since if Malay withdraw ASM, everyone can take their units. If AS1M and ASW, useless for non-bumi if bumi sell off.
