Not really. The only good thing about ASX FP is good or bad times, you will get 6.x% while other funds during good time, you can earn yourself double digit returns and during bad times, your fund can be negative. (ASX FP cannot become negative because of the fixed price NAV)

Initially, I was one of those who'd always walking around with cash from bank to bank as I don't have any account with them except MBB. But I need to try all the other 3 banks if MBB not successful as they're so strict and said 1 x attempt only.
Each time I withdraw cash / 1' brick', I'd always 'scanned' upon entry & exit of the bank. Yes , auntie twinkle is always in shorts,  T shirt with sandals & tongkat umbrella. The 1 'brick' is always in regular worn out shopping bag.
Now, I've an account with the bank & used IBG instant transfer,  occasionally still carry extra cash as IBG online can transfer only max $50k/ day.
With majority of $ are in ASX accounts & limited $$, no more 'brick' to carry around.

Now auntie twinkle no longer camp at bank...this thread become less "hot"..no live update like traffic update liao~~haizzz...

friend of mine went to 2 maybank branch.. both say ASNB system down. Maybank HQ & another one at Medan Tunku. time one is 12.10pm, another one around 1.30pm.

fyi even ASB cannot :x

Not really. Happen to me before. Post office, maybank all offline for one particular fund.

There's always other funds. All 3 funds won't go offline. Keep max 1-2 months usage in maybank eGIA-i. Rest dump into ASX. That's what I am doing.

I always have 1-2years back up plan for the worst scenario. It also helps I have not taken any loan in my lifetime.
I don't set high expectation for high returns on any investment including ASX too.
