do try at asnb branch. some managed to open after so many times banks teller don't want to help

wah asnb sh alm 'reject' u.. Then cannot help lor. So the 2 funds only u can try for now. Good luck..

Wa... It was easy for me to open ASM & AS1M at ASNB, Shah Alam recently. Both attended by different staff on 2 different days.

Retire does not meant you have to spend everything. My parents are still saving even though they are retired.

Yea...good to have some savings. Tapi auntie macam save a lot. Hahaha

One still needs to manage their retirement funds well for it to last. ASNB FP products are less stressful for me right now.
Don't forget, Auntie twinkle is still a 'beginner' starting from 3/5/16. Whatever I can dig out from banks are dumped into these funds. Auntie twinkle also wants to take current opportunities to place as many as possible & available before everyone get their salaries by end of the month. Less competition for everyone here too.

Maybe your attitude is right, humble and persuasive.
Some ppl approach the counter staffs in the wrong way, and that is why get rejected.

Is it easy to get free gifts from ASNB office? Last time I read someone got backpack or thermos on this thread.

tis I have to agree.. Humble & smile to the staff is the key. Also small talk like 'dah makan ker', 'skrg ni sgt panas lor', jalan jem giler lah', 'barang byk mahal skrg ah' etc. make them feel 'connected' to u

i see you leave the books with the staff. My experience with Maybank is that the staff will need the supervisor to verify the transactions when successful.. so probably this approach won't work..

those who gave passbook are to cimb & rhb staff VIP customer sure get 'special' service

Auntie twinkle has the habit of chatting up anyone/ everyone including ASNB staff & security guard too while waiting for my number.
The old unit of Asnb Shah Alam was small and crowded with many waiting outside on Monday. Once I got my ASM book, I shared my success with all Pak Cik & Mak Cik there too. I guess everyone there was amused seeing my happiness.
On my 2nd visit, the security guard recognized me and we started chatting about everything while waiting there. Once my number was called, I was probably the only customer talking non stop with the ASNB staff again.

Since I'm checking out few banks for ASNB at each visit, I've always having the need to look for rest room. To my surprise, 2 of my neighboring banks allowed me to use their staff rest room which was a big
