Just able to top up 4 digit for AS1M. The other 2 not available.

Always fail to get unit this way. Who wants to topup? Hmm... Wasting RM 1.06 most of the time.

Btw, Maybank2u very bad user interface for ASX online. Cannot check status of subscription whether success or not. Need to depend on refund or go bank update passbook. And they call it ASNB - Payment. Not very accurate terms also.

Last time we made theory here that ASX topup online is done after 5pm or midnight... I wonder true or not...? Or maybe it is instant transfer to ASNB at the time you submit topup, then they check for units instantly...

It'll be easier if you don't mind any of the 3 ASx.

Occasionally I'll try for ASW. If not available, I will grab some at ex dividend date to complete my personal target for ASW.
By then, no more hunting forever.

Hehe.. everyone satisfied already after the mega topup I guess.. Also too many stories of hunting scared later get reported by unknown people..

Btw, today I saw a Chinese aunty do transaction for Gray book. What fund is that? She looks like very confident in that investment. I think must be VP fund.

The Gray book if not mistaken might be ASG.

From my 1 month experience, Friday is the most challenging day to get any unit but not impossible. Keep trying next week.

Give chance to others for them to top up

Do you guys know why that day got "Mega" sales? I did some analysis. Is probably because the whole of Sarawak is offline last 2 days for public holiday. You guys have less of ONE State's competition for 2 days..

And also school holidays and start of Ramadhan month.. Maybe Malays withdrawing to spend for Raya preparations... Since if Malay withdraw ASM, everyone can take their units. If AS1M and ASW, useless for non-bumi if bumi sell off.

Your hypothesis is correct

School holiday starting or ending. Major festival, dividend day, major scandals. Here are the reasons for mega sale. The last one was the biggest and longest sale. (you know what happen + a rapid depreciating of RM during that time)

It depends on their luck & how much effort they put in trying to get Asx.
E.g- the young auntie I've met yesterday. She lived and worked in separate towns and passed by 1 day at the nearby bank my place and tried her luck. Since then she always re routed to come and try her luck, even though it's out of her way home. She is a young working mom with kids but adjusted her time for ASX.
or
the elderly mother coming in as a 'wakil' and sat down in bank for few hrs to try for her daughter.

Many non Bumi sold off AS1M & ASW recently as stated in my pbook.


Depend on where you're located. Everyone has their best/ worst bank. Once you identified the best, stick to it.

No more top up for you too?

He will topup. But only at the end of the month to get maximum dividend. Other time than that, park the money somewhere and earn extra interest while waiting to topup ASX.
