2%? Pass biggrin.gif
*
2% only this year. All this year's KGF outperform ASX FP. It's fair what. During good time you get double digit. During bad tome you get low returns. There's no simpan2. Remember it's not ASX FP where you will get 6.x% regardless of how the market perform. tongue.gif Also a note, while other funds are red, KGF is among the only one which is green.

Becareful with KGF.

now not really stable. I am making -2.01 with KGF. While +.5 with total Asian find after weeks. ESISC doing good so far.
But both KGF and ESISC share the same exposure... so more or less same.

Pub M I dare not comment much but the SC is too high

Long term wide should be OK.

Actually, which do you guys think is better ? EPF or ASX FP Funds ?
*
ASX FP cause it's always ~6.x%. Epf not so consistent. Some more EPF hinted lower returns this year. But EPF have foreign exposure while ASX FP is all local base. unsure.gif

btw how high is the "actual" inflation rate?  hmm.gif  hmm.gif
*
I guessing it's >6% since we have GST. If no GST I think is 4+%. Cause people say FD rates cannot outrun inflation. So if FD rate cannot outrun inflation, the base would have to be 4%+.

so it's like on "par" with ASx dividend are lor  bangwall.gif

only ASB divvy is more than "real" inflation rate  bruce.gif
*
Unfortunately, that looks like it. sad.gif That's why I am withdrawing my FD. If keep in FD, it's redundant and cannot outrun inflation. Say thank you.

U may consider to withdraw on pre-mature basis if the int sum is negligible

Banks like to suck people's money. So no way going to give them free money. Opportunity will come. It just take time. I intend to hold until maturity.

Wat is the current rate u enjoy from FD?
*
4.x+% My FDs all have the highest promo rates by affin bank. No more board rates/low promo rates as I don't believed in giving banks free money.

QUOTE(filage @ Jun 2 2016, 04:33 PM)
Normally how do you guys adjust ratio for 3 funds if not balanced? Like 1 fund a lot and another fund very little. Assuming not topping up new units..
*
Just topup the other book lo. Stop topping up the book which already reach target

QUOTE(wil-i-am @ Jun 2 2016, 05:02 PM)
I tot ASx returns is higher than bank loans?
*
I think that's only for ASB & asb2. If like that, we take loan and buy ASX FP liao.

getting confuse here, mean if subscribed on 1st jun still eligible for June dividend calculation, if subscribe on 2nd June it is only for July calculation?
cut off date is 1st of each month?
*
That's right. The lowest amount of the month will will be used for dividend calculation
That's why some people only topup on end of the month or early of the month to maximise dividend calculations.
In the mean time, they Park the money elsewhere.

y 1st june is counted? so strange....
*
Because any topup after 1/6 won't be counted. (the lowest amount of the month will be used to calculate dividend)

Eg 1.
You have rm10k as of 1/6. You topup Rm2k on 1/6. Lowest amount for that month will be rm12k

Eg 2.
You have rm10k as of 1/6. You topup Rm2k on 2/6. Lowest amount for that month will be rm10k

Eg 3.
You have rm10k as of 1/6. You withdraw Rm2k on 29/6. Lowest amount for that month will be rm8k. Your rm10k before that not counted as it's not the lowest amount of the month.

Nope. Cause bursa will need to suffer first before anything happen. Besides "invisible hands" at work also help.

QUOTE(filage @ Jun 3 2016, 02:16 PM)
Do you guys know why that day got "Mega" sales? I did some analysis. Is probably because the whole of Sarawak is offline last 2 days for public holiday. You guys have less of ONE State's competition for 2 days..

And also school holidays and start of Ramadhan month.. Maybe Malays withdrawing to spend for Raya preparations... Since if Malay withdraw ASM, everyone can take their units. If AS1M and ASW, useless for non-bumi if bumi sell off.
*
School holiday starting or ending. Major festival, dividend day, major scandals. Here are the reasons for mega sale. The last one was the biggest and longest sale. tongue.gif (you know what happen + a rapid depreciating of RM during that time)
