40 minutes of crying? holy mother!

what happened? the longest cry from my baby is about 15-20 minutes when she was 3-4 months old. currently still crying but very short one.
*
she wouldn't want to sleep in her cot or even stay in the pen. so crying for attention. so in the end have to let her out.
but it's really intolerable la.. especially in the midnight when everyone is sleeping... mega_shok.gif
i guess this is what pampering is all about.. laugh.gif

night usually i wouldnt take the risk... we tried once putting him back into the cot, that night nobody got any sleep bangwall.gif

usually when he cries at night (maybe nightmare or tummy having air), i carry him up and put him on our bed, he continues sleeping

playpen dem wasted... bought just to put his toys, its almost like new doh.gif
*
ya night time i really cannot even stand that 5 mins... laugh.gif
that 40 mins is during daytime wan... but now i really dont want to do it anymore.
got different views about crying... some say max let baby cry 10 mins enough... some say its ok wan... i also dont know who to believe...

lucky my cot and playpen all 'kuasa' wan laugh.gif but ya the playpen also now for her to throw the toys inside only... everything single thing also throw in there... including milk bottle... doh.gif

i went with the "immediate attention approach" since he was small... i'm not sure if this is the reason, he still cries just to show frustration but he recovers very quickly but busy lor, ehhh a bit, attend to him, shout a bit, attend to him sweat.gif
but now we just leave him only cos we confirm he's just making noise, just let him drink lots of water after crying laugh.gif

yaya! i always find my missing stuff inside the playpen, tv controls, car keys, empty bottles, his toys doh.gif

lucky you, mine all bought new, sakit hati and sayang cos seldom use sad.gif
those who bought baby items from me memang lucky laugh.gif
*
QUOTE(Mr.PostMan @ May 16 2016, 11:12 AM)
i can relate to that. my daughter now sleeps with me and my wife. only in day time she wants to sleep in her cot.
*
hahaha these days those cries are including lying on the floor and kicking non stop... wahh... vmad.gif like when she wants you to hug and you dont entertain her, she goes crying, lie down on the back and start kicking.. laugh.gif

i refuse to keep the playpen for now because i still have one more use for it and that's during emergency... laugh.gif
i really have no choice but to throw her into the playpen when im home alone and really need to go toilet... what i do is i will switch on the tv and hopefully the tv will stop her crying and when she is in the playpen, all her toys will be thrown out... laugh.gif

you know what's surprising? she can stay in the cot while she is at nanny's. according to nanny, she only gets to come out when there is someone watching her and she does not make noise at all... rclxub.gif

that's my son's normal daytime sleeping duration... his record was 45 mins laugh.gif

baby sitter said he slept 2 hours straight, i was like, "you don't maslan" laugh.gif
*
not sure you tried this but try switching on AC bro... my baby also sleeps max 30 mins but with AC i noticed can sleep 2 hours also... just make sure the room temperature is comfortable for baby... i normally just set 25C with fan speed 1. no need blanket or anything. at times will just cover with very light cloth.

Hi /K daddys. My daughter baru born last week. So I guess now I also in this club now.
When your baby baru born, you all fully feed breastmilk or mix with formula?
My wife now bmilk not that much so now topup with formula. This is stressing my wife out as she wants to fully bfeed the baby.
I told her it's normal but she still stressed.
*
of course its always good to BM but there is one disadvantage about BM. your baby will tend to have longer jaundice. but if you feed your baby with formula, the jaundice will go away.

yeah its tough. my cousins had to stay in hospital like a month or so under the machine thingie. well you are through it now! and just suffer from other crap hahahah. never an easy day as a parent.
*
actually we could've ended it really quickly but my wife very stubborn after attending a class on breast feeding and that speaker is a real nazi... i was there too and i have to say the speaker successfully brainwashed my wife. so end up my wife die die dont want to give formula although doctor ask to but in the end, we pulled through... its tough... one hand i can't do anything for my baby and on the other hand my wife pulak like that... fuuu...
