This thread...reflects my life. lol

Hi guys. Father of 2.5 year old son here. Some of the things you guys post...get the feels man.

I'm a weekend husband now. Work in JB, wife in KL. wife and son stay with her parents.

Did this for better job opportunity. Been 3 months like this. Sometimes I question if this is worth it or not. But gotta keep it together to power through.

Any weekend husbands here?

daddies, please try to refrain your kid from using pacifier or thumb after 2 years old if u can. my dentist says my girl has protruding teeth already due to sucking from thumb.

we're now in the soft transition period to remove her form sucking her thumb when she watches tv or sleeping. initially she will cry like mad trying to sleep from not sucking her thumb.

now she doesn't suck the thumb anymore when watching tv, but sometimes when she wakes up in the middle of the night she will try to suck. i just hit her hand softly and she will take it out.

else when she grows up, dental fees to repair the protruding teeth will not be cheap.

what a pity you are! I bet you are cheonging girls outside now. I think you marry wrong woman lei. woman no cook, no to do chores then is she a princess? I prefer forever alone than met that kind of wife

I think ur situation above only applies to fulltime housewife. If working mom, nothing wrong if dad help do the house chores, cook etc.

Wrap gauze thick thick on her thumb...

Coz what is happening now as you may already been told, her front teeth protrudes and upper/lower dental arches (molar area) start to constict. End up with cross bite when she grows bigger.

You can't do that forever . is it worth it ? You travel by what ? Car or bus ?

My friend do that too . but not Kl jb laa . his wife and son in jb , he work in Saudi iirc . engineering field . 3 years there , comeback , buy house , car cash, dump money in ASB and some trust fund . now he work in jb , 3 kids already . no debt .
That is worth it .

I do that to before , I in shah alam , wife in jb . tak sampai dua bulan . tak tahan nak piap everyday .. Not worth it . lol
