you know lar, a lot of things to apply after bath... kelam kabut giler bangwall.gif

my wife goes bonkers if she's alone with the baby on weekends when i have to work, so morning need to wake up farking early to prepare breakfast and lunch... at around 4pm-5pm, she'll be calling until my phone explode already, beh tahan laugh.gif
*
dont play play... my wife at times also ask me to prepare food.. sometimes i get upset and i pretend i didn't hear... sometimes she will continue nag me until i go prepare the food... laugh.gif anyway we use slow cooker to prepare baby porridge for tomorrow.

aiyo... to me showering baby is sap sap sui.. i tell you everyday without fail... after work, i fetch baby from nanny, go home, boil rice sometimes, eat dinner, do dishes, wash baby bottles, bath baby, get baby all ready for sleep, prepare milk, feed baby, accompany baby to sleep, take out trash, do laundry if necessary, water plants if necessary, go shower then watch tv. if got work then no watch tv. everyday like that... laugh.gif

thats why right after work, no one can reach me by phone... ahahah if anyone in emergency also i have to say sorry... tongue.gif unless i expected phone calls le...

i so happy that day i celebrated mothers day by going out to do sports tongue.gif freedom for me tongue.gif laugh.gif

Rant #2 . feeding time is like at war .

Whole kitchen get messy .
I'm not from rich family , so since I was kid , I learn to appreciate food . I always finish whats on my plate .

But my kids aahhhh , easily throw food on floor , feed one time , run all around house , then come back for second spoon . sometime need to make them cry and force them to eat .  I cannot tahan they do that to my precious food . I get mad when people waste food .

So I give up feeding them and let my wife do it .
Still the same , like warzone . but I'm not in the picture .
Then my turn to eat , they climb on my back and ask for my food pulak ...
*
ahaha that goes for my rant #3 then...

somehow i have more difficulties in feeding baby... my wife have better chance.. its really like a war as mentioned... hands in the food then throw the food.. food all over the floor... but this never happen in nanny place... very strange... so everyone is saying baby is bullying the parents.

we even strap the baby to high chair and this still happens...

but one thing very funny... the baby knows how to wipe the floor when baby spit food out on the floor.... baby will go take cloth and wipe.... because i think the baby has been imitating me..

*
bro you should help out.. seriously give your wife some slack... really can go crazy mang... in the end sure you loose wan if she decides to bring out any arguement laugh.gif

hahah same here, i think they are in their "pretending" stage... he'll bring the TV control to my wife so that she'll turn it on, my wife takes it and puts it near her ears and say hello... my kid was like confused.gif laugh.gif
*
ahaha my baby will turn on the tv all by herself. now i have to put the remote higher. im giving her other old remotes to play instead.

daddies, please try to refrain your kid from using pacifier or thumb after 2 years old if u can. my dentist says my girl has protruding teeth already due to sucking from thumb.

we're now in the soft transition period to remove her form sucking her thumb when she watches tv or sleeping. initially she will cry like mad trying to sleep from not sucking her thumb.

now she doesn't suck the thumb anymore when watching tv, but sometimes when she wakes up in the middle of the night she will try to suck. i just hit her hand softly and she will take it out.

else when she grows up, dental fees to repair the protruding teeth will not be cheap.

if u got a boy, just make sure he ada wang ada amoi

thanks for the tips... but lucky my baby dont use pacifier or have habit with sucking thumb..

This thread...reflects my life. lol

Hi guys. Father of 2.5 year old son here. Some of the things you guys post...get the feels man.

I'm a weekend husband now. Work in JB, wife in KL. wife and son stay with her parents.
Did this for better job opportunity. Been 3 months like this. Sometimes I question if this is worth it or not. But gotta keep it together to power through.

Any weekend husbands here?
*
what is weekend husband? you mean you travel back to kl every week to look after your kid?
