me. i have to. otherwise my elementum couldn't resolve any links.
my PC on the same network, don't need VPN.
same latest Kodi.

never bothered to find out why ..but should be caused by my tvbox

no. the main reason i use vpn because i want to use elementum. stopping illegal streaming in Asia not as important as US/EU i feel.
and sometimes, i use it to remove geo restrictions too

fastest i've seen is almost 7MB/s download speed in Elementum if the source is fast which correlates with the 80-90Mbps download in speedtest.
i'm using unifi 500Mbps so the reduction is crazy but still fast enough for me, for now.
i've never tried other paid VPNs though.

Been awhile i didnt use Elementum just found out this 403 error yesterday.
I've already created the API and done it on my laptop, however for phone i cant copy paste it.

Change the "Number of Channels" back to 2.0 and the Audio Output options should be select-able. Also depending on what audio system you are using, enable the "Allow Passthrough" option. This will allow the device itself such as AVR/Amplifier/HT/TV, etc to handle the compressed audio signals.

Your system can't still be hacked and you can still run into legal issues. Running a VPN doesn't mean your connected device is suddenly safe and immune from viruses or malware.. Yeah... that reduction is quite severe.. But as someone who used to delight at seeing 3,5xxKbps during streaming (30Mbps Max on TM Unifi)? I'd say double at 7MB/s back then would have felt like paradise.. haha.. You should give Surfshark a try, if you haven't already done so..

I found the settings.xml located at \Android\data\org.xbmc.kodi\files\.kodi\userdata\addon_data\plugin.video.elementum
So i just upload it to google drive, open and edit at pc then download it back to the location.

that's the best speed that I gotten. normally, it's anywhere below 3MB/s for older shows, below 6MB/s for newer shows.
are you using Surfshark? good speed? I've seen many youtubers sponsored by them for an advertisement in their video.

Yep, depending on your audio equipment. You'll have to choose and enable the audio options your equipment can handle. Leave those it can't so Kodi handles those. Else, during playback, certain audio formats won't emit any sounds from your speakers. Till it's setup right or you just disable Passthrough completely, which typically forces Kodi to down-mix to stereo.

Yeah, YouTubers, Bloggers, etc seen my fair share of dem VPN ads and deals. Thing is, as is most such cat and mouse games. What may work now may not work in future and vice versa. I'm currently using SurfShark and the recommendation comes from my personal usage and feels about it. Not sponsored.. haha.. But even then, I tried to use one of their static USA servers that used to work on Amazon Prime.. Got rejected last night. Malas to go hunting for another server on the service till I find another that works. Logging in and out of AP requires OTP sent to mobile number.. Tiring.. So shut it down in favor of another TV series on Netflix.

Yup, got that too... I don't blame em, they have to protect themselves against excessive usage and or abuse. For normal users here, shouldn't be an issue for now. Let's monitor and hope they don't change something on their end that will affect.

True, Opensubs does have hiccups occasionally, but it normally gets okay in a few days.. Checkout Addic7ed, Podnapisi, and my number 2 after Opensubs?.....Subscene.com. Try subscene first, it can be found in the official Kodi repo.
