anyone tried rebirth fro cypher, it fork of exodus..plenty of good 1080p 5.1 without needing to pair and all that shit, no API require and its fast too...

after change my dsn to google dsn . Still unable to install Colossus Repo.
but someone I m be able to install back Exodus. Can still works right ? i thought it was replaced by covenant

Tried this on PC, kept getting the response "No streams available".. Will check it out later on media box.

Exodus is dead.. Even Elysium is experiencing issues right now. .unsure if it'll be rectified later. Try the Rebirth addon GuyM put up.. Can be installed from Cypher Locker repo.

Sure, some links in Exodus are still working.. But it's not undergoing active maintenance like when it was created. So in typical fashion, once cannot serve your purpose, move on to the next available addon..

if not mistaken exodus several week back got reborn into other server...

just i forgot which server...


works quite good..and even now during loading got list of the video quality available ===> 4k:xxnumber, 1080p: xxnumber and so on...

Oh I see... Must recheck Exodus again then... See how it holds up.

actually, i find all such "exoduses" redundant.

quasar is the king.. choose from small to big files; sd or 1080p; h264 or hevc; 2.0 or dd/dd+5.1...

why bother with anything else?!

well.. i hope quasar stays alive and not get killed by something/somebody...

Yeah.. Quasar remains my first & second choice.. only in the rare instance that I then resort to other addons.

Got home and able to retest addons using the media box which is more setup for streaming. Testing with super popular and very recent content.. Elysium still works and plays files, albeit in SD despite finding 1080p & HD sources. Rebirth finds sources and tries to play but ends up with the same response "No streams available". Didn't test Exodus.. Gave up as HM needs the TV.. Maybe later.

been using Quasar for sometime now, but nvr got to stream movie in surround or DD5.1 format. video is good, at least HD720p quality, but audio always 2.0
how do u guys manage to find the source?

Check and switch between providers.. Also private trackers.. Lastly, sometimes, the providers timeout or can't find a suitable stream, in such cases, you can manually add the link.. it'll take over..

to get dd/dd+5.1 on quasar:

.. u hv a min dd/dd+5.1 home theater in use, whether hdmi or spdif.
.. u r using kodi 17.5, not lower.
.. your device has enough storage and is capable of kodi dd/dd+5.1 pass thru.
.. u hv set it right for audio pass thru and ac3 transcoding,
.. u hv quasar and quasar burst with the right providers.
.. look for links that are ac3, dd or ddp, typically 1-5gb in size.

Elysium doesn't work for at all, deleted it........

Rebirth by std install thru CYpher works like a charm on all my boxes.....

Exodus has been deleted as well from all boxes....

check... kodi 17.5, quasar 0.9.78.

i hv seen it... just ignore or exit and go back in.
i think it is just a minor error message that comes on when the source or your speed is too slow.

Something it obstructing the Quasar daemon from reaching Kodi.. Check that the remote control options in Kodi settings are enabled or that some firewall isn’t blocking it.

Kodi on mibox. Noir even able to select movie to stream. It hits the error after choosing category

i don't know much about about mibox, dfif models... can't comment much.
but i do seem to read a lot of mibox users having problems with kodi, be it quasar or other addons.
u probably want to go to the mibox thread and check with other users.

also, check yr memory/storage status.
a 1/8 or 2/8gb device, if u hv too many apps, much junk in there, u may hv only 1-2gb left.
when u try to do a 3gb file on quasar, obviously u will grind to a halt.

i have only 1 (one) addon on kodi - quasar, the only one i now use.
quasar 0.9.78 has been very stable for 2-3 months now.
kodi 17.5 is good, esp now that it allows more androids ac3/eac3 pass thru.
and i notice there is improvement for android hardware acceleration - less/no judders at the beginning of the stream.
i had been watching 1gb, 4gb,15gb streams since last week!

So most likely rule out firewall issues.. Confirmed that both remote control options are enabled? Also, what providers are you using? Limit to 3 - 5 max.
