basically the kernel open source provided by xiaomi just barebone, aka just enough to boot the phone, but all the functions, drivers are not.

my mi3 still 2gb, and updated to android 6.0 .. power management and memory management are better in android 6.0.
only if miui will upgrade current base of miui for rm n3 to android 6.0 as well.

lol, i know mtk n pro version is which one, maybe didnt notice was mentioning redmi3 earlier.
btw, does u guys use exfat or fat for sd..exfat supported?

guess confirmed, xiaomi doesn't include exfat support in miui (due to loyalty they doesn't pay to m$)...and samseng phone can
just checked the miui forum also
