nah, I activated my mi account for years already, and posted stuff in miui en forum before mi3 was out, and my mi account is "gold member"

if anyone facing android system awake problem, go to
> settings > additional settings > backup & reset.
> untick backup
> reboot

Or, go to Settings > Installed apps > Google play services
> Clear data
> Reboot

I experienced this last time, after clear play services and disable auto backup (it will auto enable) it does help solve the problem a while, but it came back few days later.

Solution? Backup, then wipe and reset. During setup, just disable auto backup from the setup wizard.. Saw these problem also affecting some nexus phones

it's official unlock bootloader, and yes most of them who root will go thro these steps

miui 8 seems will bring back one page toggle, I'm not a fan of 2nd page toggle as well. MIUI 6 got options to let you choose one page or 2nd page .. and they removed in miui 7.

after unlocked my phone, I just flash miui eu rom.. which only 6xxMB in size and removed most of the bloatwares bundled in official rom

bs.. also which version? snapdragon or mtk? mine ap set yet already flashed to global rom

apparently from the upcoming miui 8 test for redmi note 3, still using base android 5.1 .. meh

for this week might be 5.1, tho there is alpha 6.0 ..if you want to try

the current cm13 not so stable even on 4/6 build.. also cm13 will relock bl it seems.

second space i haven tried..
cloned apps - let you run 2 instances of the same app..like running 2whatsapp with different numbers.

fingerprint works..and so on.I read fp doesnt work in 6.0 that's why they let it on 5.1

will report back after few days use on battery.

from leaked rom on 6.0, there are some multiple issues like fp not working. maybe that's why they hold it off.

yeah, cloned apps will have a marker on the icon
