You should give credit to empire group for creating (or try to) a city almost same time. Coming from a newbie this is either make it or tank it. Unfortunetely his gamble didnt pay off. But many buildings there already near complerion.

Not many developers can pull this type of development. Usually developer will build block by block....man man lai.

last time I said EC is far too advance and too big to fail.

but now it looks like slowly sinking, and with its big size, no one can rescue it.

They are greedy by building everything at one go. Even KL Eco City, Pavilion Damansara, BBCC have different consultant & contractor for different phase. That is what we call well managed project. Not to forget they are a reputable developer, consultant and contractor with a very strong track record.

BBCC doesn't complete all in one go. only mall, hotel, office and two blocks of service apartments will be completed almost the same time in phase 1.

the rest of apartments, one office block and signature tower, will be much later on.

however, obviously the foundation of all apartment blocks need to be completed now than later.

It was stopwork 17yrs before resuming.

And ppl still bbb.

If empire is in such dire straits situation, wouldnt it be done for liquidator to come in n take control of the compsny?

I think they still have few cards on hand.

If creditor sued for unpaid bill n company cant paid, liquidator will come in to take over the daily running of the company slresdy.

Beside its not like empire is just an empty shell now.

Obviously they are still meeting bills.

There are always delay technique...or pay nominsl amt to extend the liquidation.....

The key is....you must have some piggy banks hidden somewhere to wand off creditors file for liquidation.

If not bcos of property bullrun halted b4 ec was completed, the situation might turn out different

most likely there is no provision for individual aircond ledge within the building as the building is designed to take centralised aircond and its for office usage.

last I read, macam btw 50 - 70% completion nia, cant remember the exact figure.

from outside, the golden shining reflective glass like macam very luxurious and all guests will be bathing in golden sunlight already opened for biz.

exsim bought over an unbuilt land at EC1 n launch similar product macam Halo Sunday and also will kautim the mall so that it can open officially,

Aset Kayamas already seured a portion of land of EC2. Exsim I dun think they have secured the portion of land of Empire they intend to go JV stuff....
