Read my sentence properly my friend.
In case of emergency, you need to raise your CC limit in order to pay the sum right?
Imagine you are hospitalised, and you request a TEMP raise of CC limit and waiting them to process 5-7 working days?
I still need to snap photo of the bill, submit to them, wait them process and get approve. This is no longer emergency case anymore.
What stupid process is this?
You are complaining about your own case where they request documents. In case of emergency, you need to raise your CC limit in order to pay the sum right?

Then you compare with another hypothetical case (where documents are easily available).
And totally ignore that, on the balance of probabilities, the financial institution has every reason to believe your 'emergency' is high risk behaviour. That's what the documents are for, to enable them to reassess the risk.
You already have a credit limit with them, which is their judgement on the amount of risk they are willing to take on you. It's not really their problem if you need more than that, or if you need a TEMPORARY (not emergency) CC limit approval to be done quicker than they are comfortable with.
