QUOTE(paranoidandroid @ Jul 13 2018, 06:11 PM) Aeon credit promo is the worst. I am not getting rewarded despite my dilligent in using the card. I have missed out on all the 5% and 10% promo sent via sms invite! Called customer service, their operators are clueless as ever. CC providers don't reward you for 'diligently using' their card, they have specific T&C for whatever promotions.Felt cheated, i think i should just terminate this crappy aeon card. You don't get stars for being a 'good kid'. Be smart. Which probably means cancel this card and use something more suitable to your spending patterns. |

Or if you have almost any other bank savings account you can IBFT from Maybank to that then Giro to pay.
A lot of effort of 10 cents savings. |

QUOTE(azhan82 @ Sep 4 2018, 12:42 PM) Ic.. base on what I read.. its 3 months from termination Normal TnG card can transfer balance to another card (for a fee I think).really a hassle if you ask me considering the card is under TnG instead of AEON.. thought i could just transfer this Zing Card to another institution or just refund it to my AEON balance.. Thanks for the help I've never taken a Zing card, don't see the use of it (and I use about 10 ringgit per day on TnG) when manual reloads are easy and plentiful location wise. |

QUOTE(7498 @ Oct 2 2018, 05:00 PM) Okay, now I know. because as I remember, the tnc didnt mention first come first serve otherwise I would have spend the RM500 right away. Tnc said guaranteed RM50 when you spend RM500 with RM10,000 cash back limit. So i assumed it is "GUARANTEED" can get. In future for AEON and any other banks really, quite important to read the fine print T&C. Always spelled out there. |

QUOTE(7498 @ Oct 3 2018, 03:24 PM) I read every single word in the tnc for every bank campaign before I participate. Maybe my english is just too poor to understand their very "confusing" terms That's maybe some sort of financial (il)literacy? I don't find them confusing, in fact they're legally binding most of the time so normally quite clear. |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Jan 3 2019, 11:11 PM) Yes it seems. I hated it a lot too. I received few times and sometimes will call me on due date even I have paid. I will just tell them to wait for the payment to reflect and stop bothering me. Kesian la, he/she just doing their job. Not like they can control whether you get the call or not. Wanna complain should go talk to a manager.Well, nobody likes to be chased payment early in the morning and they do this very often. Anyway, I have stopped using their card months ago, so don't receive calls recently. I have told them off I don't appreciate such calls and asked them to check my payment record if I have any late payment before. The fellow just kept quiet, apologised and hung up. |

QUOTE(hebe87 @ Jan 4 2019, 11:45 AM) agree Suspect a significant portion of their user base pays in cash at their CDM, so need time to plan to pay. Not everyone pays online which is effectively instant.but the issue is, the way they reminding via phone call "10 days" " 7days" before due date is ridiculous. as if i borrow money from ah long |

QUOTE(miyakochan89 @ Jan 23 2019, 08:59 PM) I want to apply for Balance Transfer to my ACS card only to realise that I need to fax the form after that? Like hmm...... Maybe i can find a fax machine in an antique shop, maybe. lol. Besides the email technique (easiest) there are free websites which will send fax for you. |

QUOTE(miyakochan89 @ Jan 24 2019, 01:01 PM) Yeah, that's why we're paying for membership on LYN forums right? Free tier faxing is limited in number of pages per day/week just to get you used to the service in hopes of getting you to sign up for subscription. This isn't a social network, your email address isn't worth THAT much....And if you think they're gonna OCR every document sent then |

QUOTE(weejin2000 @ Mar 6 2019, 04:20 PM) For me, I also dislike calls reminding me to pay money, but since I do my IBG to pay Aeon on 29th of every month half a year ago, I have stopped receiving reminder call from AEON. This is a tip to those who dislike these calls. I've received calls on the 25/26th of the month, so I dunno how reliable that is.... |

QUOTE(Darkcloudz @ Apr 4 2019, 12:12 PM) dude, they ask for proof of receipt. 'Emergency'.If it's for emergency, what proof i need to show them. They are very silly Sounds like kena scam and suddenly want to raise 20k cash for 'chance of a lifetime' investment which is guaranteed 400% returns in 6 months. If you cannot see how the situation appears to the financial institution (who are the ones responsible for taking on the risk of lending you money), then you're the silly one. |
