I have a question regarding the new Celcom Magic SIM pack. Is the SIM card that comes with the SIM pack a 4G LTE SIM card ?

My mom's number was registered using my aunt's name because my aunt work for celcom at the time, got staff price postpaid plan.

If she go to Celcom bluecube to change sim card from 2g to 4g, need to show my aunt's IC or not? Because my aunt is in another state so it isn't very feasible.

Was a maxis user before ported to celcom. The entire period of my experience with celcom service is horrid!
Out of 50 days within the period of using celcom, more than 10 days I am without coverage in semenyih area.
No coverage as in totally can't receive calls!! This is so inconvenient esp during working hrs as I only have 1 line.
Not to mention their hotline CS, is extremely unhelpful.. each time you are in need for help, they will ask you to walk in bluecube for further assistance.
What is their CS for in the 1st place?? Love chatting??

Just a week ago, I have ported out my number from celcom and they have already blacklisted me for current outstanding bill of rm 90 which will be due in coming month!!

kindly suggest people try to do some homework if changing telco. no any telco has perfect coverage so please try use prepaid first then decide want to change it or not. i think customer service cannot help much on coverage issue, what they can do just get know ur problem and escalator it to management. i really feel poor to cs because actually they can do nothing to this issue what they can do is escalate this issue to management and convince you only

I switched to First Gold from First 38 plan because my data usage is high (can't get Unifi in my house). Previously, on First 38 plan, I can purchase additional 5GB data at RM50. Since 50+38 (I usually use more than that) is more than RM80, I decided to switch to First Gold.

Now I find out, on First Gold plan, I can't purchase additional 5GB data! I can only purchase additional 1GB data at RM20 with "Free" Yonder Music. 1GB on the First 38 plan is only RM15, so obviously the "Free" Yonder Music is not free!

Worse, the Yonder Music app is not available on Windows Phone. So if I buy additional 1GB, I won't get to enjoy the "free" Yonder Music. Plus, I should have 1 year free subscription to Yonder Music for switching to First Gold but I can't enjoy it. Emailed Celcom but 1 week already no reply.

Thinking about switching to UMobile now.... sad.gif

Since they released FIRST Blue and Gold, they have removed MaxUp 5GB. Even MaxUp 1GB is more expensive at RM20.

MaxUp 5GB still available for the old plans though.

I have 2 prepaid registered under my name. Have to choose either one. Can't see both together. bruce.gif So inconvenience. Nothing much. Easier and faster to deal with sms to purchase any extras.
