QUOTE(danielcmugen @ Jun 1 2016, 10:34 PM) you pump 210kpa in the morning, afternoon kpa will rise...you pump 210kpa in the afternoon, night kpa will fall... also after hard driving, tyre become hot...actual kpa will rise... try it...pump 210 in cold... then drive hard.. come back and pump 210 again..you will notice the current kpa will be higher, and the pump will be releasing air.... |

Honestly, nowadays I only trust the pump @ Shell..
Others look very poorly maintained with leaks while you pump and worse there was once the pump is not calibrated...pump 220kpi ended with 300kpi... Makes me wanna get a personal tyre pressure gauge juz to be safe... |

For head unit crackling sound especially during hot day can try to DIY this.
Insert 2 flat screw driver underneath and slowly pry it out. Apply force towards you and it will pop out. Once pop out becareful not to pull the whole thing out as there is a cable connected to the front panel. Detach it. Tape the surrounding area circled with electrical tape. Some ppl who had rattling sound inside may open up to check. Mine no rattle so i didnt check further. Once you're done. Push it back to snap back. Remember to put back the connector before snap back the panel. |

Just came back from a one week family holiday to the east coast. Drove my mom's 1.6 while my son drove his 1.3 std mt. Wifey's 1.3 cvt exec had a self inflicted accident just a few hours before we start our holiday and the driver's door needed replacing.. sigh... oh well..
So this time around, it is one moon dust and one bluey traveling instead of 2 moon dust. The 1.3 std mt, like the 1.3 cvt exec, had no issue at all traveling from JB to Kota Bharu and back. The 1.3 mt has better fc compared to the cvts. In my holiday to Perak / Penang in dec last year, both cvts consume roughly about the same fuel, but this time around, the mt consumed significantly less and many times we had to go get the balanced RM from the counter after paying the same amount for both cars. The ride comfort and handling are again superb for a sub RM60k car especially at the winding Mersing road. And again, safety is ever so important. My son manage to stop in time when a cow crossed the road. I manage to swerve to avoid the cow while my son had to applied emergency breaking to avoid hitting the cow. There were traffic at the opposite lane causing the opposite lane to be inaccessible. So relieved that his iriz didn't kiss the cow... Am happy that there are still no major complaints with the cars so far after one and a half year of ownership. |

Is that normal that whenever i stop behind a lorry or a bus, the smell of smoke comes directly into the cabin? As if i turn the recirculation off?
