So many users now. Maybe we should do a proper headcount and user list??? TS????? Maybe add Huawei tag as well??

Hi all Mate 8 users,

Can u share your battery life in detail data?

How much time require to charge from below 0% to 100%?
*
I shared a lot on previous pages lol. Should be 2.5 hours as claimed since i charge from 3-100% in around 2 hours 20 minutes.

nothing to worry as gemfive just replied me that some merchant will open it to register the warranty...
some.. not all... as long as the phone is genuine, new and under warranty.... not much to worry...
will be receiving mine tomorrow....
4gb 64gb champagne gold 😁😁😁

Seriously it is NOT necessary at all to open the box to register for warranty. All the phone IMEI and Serial number are clearly listed on the sticker outside the box
The only logical reason why the dealer wishes to open the box is to play safe and test that the unit is functional first before sending it out

Why bother with just one negative feedback?
Anyway I had not test the default headset
It is perfectly fine with my other 2 budget headset - Xiaomi and aJays2. I had been using these on all my phones including iPhone too n had never bother using those supplied ones.
Other users could test it and advise you?
And the sound is not horrible vs iPhone. I find it perfectly fine vs my other iPhone 6s+. The audio quality is better but Mate8 isn't horrible as described
But again judging audio quality is subjective similar to judging photo shot quality
I suggest you assess these yourself at the outlet to judge better

Going to get my Mate 8 later. I uses JBL E10 headset now and the shop will free me a set of Huawei ANC. Music is very important to me as well.
Uses Poweramp as the player in the phone. Nvm. I will go check it out again later.
Just that i saw a bad review so i was wondering is it that bad. This is just for more understanding.

Hi guys. gonna ask a silly question since im not a pro on android stuffs. bought my mate 8 with 4gb ram today. when i opened the task manager and cleaned up unwanted process, it still shows remaining 2.6gb usable ram of 4gb. I cleaned up all the processes so wouldnt it be like above 3gb ram free to use? I have 4gb ram after all

don't worry about the unused ram unless your phone feels laggy for no reason.

an old article but still good information :

http://www.androidcentral.com/ram-what-it-...u-shouldnt-care

and furthermore in this age of 2-4gb ram phones, lagi no need to worry.
