Nilkin nature is soft and very thin...not so good protection in my opinion..they have hard case as well but dont think it covers the bottom and top of the phone....

Don't have such issue - I'm using pin for security as I'm using finger print sensor. it only allows me to put in this method if i'm using finger print - else if i use pattern it won't allow me to use finger print

Its decent enough - i tried to compare IP6+, 1+2 and Mate 8, the mate 8 is quite ok - can't tell the difference much...this was done during late evening time....haven't tried night shots yet

Hmm..I checked - but not all apps are in there - Gmail is not there for example...the default huawei mail , whatsapp, line, wechat etc is there..but not gmail

One thing I realized also - which i forgot based on my Honor 7 experience is when you make any changes to Huawei phones, especially notifications is - reboot the phone for the settings to take effect.

I'm wondering if you have the gmail option under Ignore Batt optimization - I don't see gmail on my list for some reason...but it is working fine....so far

Haven't gone to B180 yet - working on my notifications issue on B170 - seem to finally nail it so far...

As far as B180 goes - read that the default 3G/4G network connection display on the status bar is gone now if you turn on Wireless...is that true?

Also feedback from XDA mentions that battery life is not as good as B170 ?

This phone is the coolest phone I had so far....even with long periods of browsing i don't encounter any heat....

Me too - I just converted to U mobile from Digi due to their Hero plan and so far I'm very happy with the speed of its LTE network and reception....but i do notice it will fall back to Maxis Edge when travelling sometimes...and not 4G in the northern states....but Klang Valley so far so good

Not bad . Not as good as mate 8 but can last me all day even with heavy usage. Batt is 3600 mah so i kinda expected longer batt life than say a note 5. Plus the fast charging is faster than mate 8
