Try to restart the phone, I have the same problem. Battery drain drain 10% overnight without wifi or data on.

Screen should  consume most of the battery, I think this is EMUI bug

1.  Titanium backup to backup my Mate 8 to MicroSD.
2.  Perform Unlock
3.  Titanium backup to restore everything

Will all my data and apps comes back.

I have not used Titanium Backup for more than 3 years.

OK my purpose is to unlock bootloader and restore data. Trying to find the easiest way to include WhatsApp video and data. I had not been doing unlock and custom firmware for a long time.

Can I

1. Use Mate 8 backup apps to backup to MicroSD Card
2. Unlock Bootloader - will erase data not sure if all the data
3. After unlock I think personal data and apps is erased.
4. Will use Mate Backup to Restore the backup data from the MicroSD

Will this works.

Hi guys, plan to buy this phone soon, my currently phone is ip6plus n mediapad x1, the things I concern is the big screen n batteries life n is not bad on huawei mediapad x1, just my X1 now is a bit buggy n laggy...so is time to change a new one, prefer huawei cause for the good experience on it n good review I read, mate 8 is now the primary choices on my list,  just one more thing I need to know before I place my order, pls to ask u guys,  does the mate 8 batteries life is better than mediapad X1 or not ? If not too much different or its even better, than I will go straight for the 4gb version

Guys, the device come with pre-installed glass screen but it is on all the screen, blocking the notification led light, it is very dim and I can't see the notification light well.
Do you change the pre-installed glass screen?

My Mate 8 4/64GB comes with Glass SP and I am very sure it was not installed by the reseller as the person was my friend and I got it at reseller cost.

How to turn off word suggestion and prediction on huawei keyboard?

Just switched from Note 5 to Mate 8 today, I'm so not used to the phone, especially with the EMUI, settings, and how everything works. And the multiwindow feature only can support about 8 apps, is it normal? Cause Note 5 can support way more than that.
