Under option 1 : I always press down power n both VOL buttons. When first boot up release only power button. Release both VOL buttons once you see emui logo

I had never seen the 3g/4g display even on its first firmware till b170 n b180 with WiFi on. So I had never missed such a feature
Similarly too for my previous China set
Battery life I don't see any significant difference w b170

As said clearly I had never ever seen such on my set since day one. So I don't miss it

Both my Aukey fast charger (2.4A) n Lvsun fast charger(3A output) works well charging the Mate8

I would say quite close probably only about 15 mins difference?
Anyway I am not too concerned how fast it charges as I only charge my phone once and is during bedtime at about 11pm n leave it on till next morning
I just tested these chargers only once out of curiosity

Personally I simply hate such stuffs appearing on lockscreen.
I always want my lockscreen simple n neat
Such notification remind me of my iPhone which I simply hate to see
So I do not miss it

Try adding it manually in the magazine folder??
Locate the folder using file Explorer app n you will see all present images. Rename images according to those present n copy out those stock images first

Give up on Digi? I had given them up few years ago
Now am faithful Celcom n Maxis user
U mobile also given up since no news even when LTE can be available at my place

I only use Zedge app to find all the wallpaper I need

You can try Google n install googlecontactsync.apk. It usually help with such issues. Only China sets needed this install. You can try. Local sets contact sync with Google is auto enabled

Probably is phone overheat ??

Seriously it is NOT necessary at all to open the box to register for warranty. All the phone IMEI and Serial number are clearly listed on the sticker outside the box
The only logical reason why the dealer wishes to open the box is to play safe and test that the unit is functional first before sending it out

Why bother with just one negative feedback?
Anyway I had not test the default headset
It is perfectly fine with my other 2 budget headset - Xiaomi and aJays2. I had been using these on all my phones including iPhone too n had never bother using those supplied ones.
Other users could test it and advise you?
And the sound is not horrible vs iPhone. I find it perfectly fine vs my other iPhone 6s+. The audio quality is better but Mate8 isn't horrible as described
But again judging audio quality is subjective similar to judging photo shot quality
I suggest you assess these yourself at the outlet to judge better

Don't bother about ram at all on android. You have 4GB and that is a lot of ram. Is not necessary even to look at it
Google had said in Android unused ram is wasted ram
Don't make phone worse by fiddling with it - just allow the OS to manage it
Ram management is completely different vs say Windows platform

Why? Isn't that the normal specs??

Is abnormal...do check your wakelocks as these are probably consuming your battery
