Ok..I've finally stuck.
WinXP success.
Vista.....few drivers are missing
Found alot of threads here and there mentioning the same problems, but none with a real solution.
1. Coprocessor
2. Ethernet Controller
3. SM Bus Controller
4. Modem Device on High Definition Audio Bus

Not sure which drivers goes to what....dunno how to choose between the hardware drivers when force installation.


Help?


*BTW, my dual OS works perfectly so far. No problems...yet.

I have a problem with my Compaq Presario V3010.
The lcd screen is blank after i turn on my laptop.
And the problem might be caused by the motherboard.
So i want to ask u all,

1) what is the cost of changing the motherboard?
2) can i buy the extended warranty, and get the HP people to fix the laptop?
3) what is HP Limited Warranty Service Enhancement actually? I've read thru their website, http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/documen...277&lc=en&cc=us and want to ask whether it is applied in Malaysia or not..

i like to explain that coz its the same model as mine
1.ori mobo from HP centre together with service charge: rm1200
2.after the mobo burns and ur waranty already ended?NO.
3.its the waranty there provide for certain parts at certain level of damage of time for waranty change.
to let u noe:ur mobo burn because ur gpu is high due to gaming of high reso games,ie DOTA.u r not recomend to change the mobo but to buy a new 1.hope my answers help u.

its not dat i missed it, i did browse alot of threads regarding these issues, even outside of lowyat.net,...
its just dat:-
1. if i use the .exe after dl, it won't install.
2. if i force install manually...i have no idea which hardware goes to which .inf/etc file to locate.

most of the threads just says dl 'here' or dl 'there'....

*sry,...vista is screwing me up. 1st timer on vista...making me blur case siah.

tell u the true i dl 3 or 4 time the nvidia nforce driver from hp website..after finish dl tat the zip corrupt when unzip it
in my mind is blur blur ,edy wast my times bout 2 day seaching here and there....i use bitcomet to dl ...but fail again. at last i try dl with star downloader . i was happy to dl the right files with it and install correctly
actually u oso can use V3616AU mobo driver too
the NVIDIA nForce Chipset Driver inside come with SMbus , Lan driver and ide/sata driver

modem i use update software driver at device manager .
if u still cannot install the right driver u can direct MSN me ...check my profile to get my msn

Anyone know which the best current forceware version? mine is gc 6150

guys. previously my v3751 runs on xp. now upgraded to vista due to the headphone-speaker issue.

after the upgrade when i press the volume up down button, the volume bar doesnt show up anymore on the screen. any ways to make it appear back? need to install any driver? if yes, whats the name of the driver?

btw, whats the function of the button next to the mute button? cant seem to have any effect when i press it

That is because the quick launch button version.. some version have, some version dint have..

But u heard from other user, the headphone-speaker issue can be fix.. if u read back.. u will find the solution..

Can anyone help me with this please, my HP tx2032 seems to get heated very fast... Running idle with YM, MSN, AVG registered processor temp of 50 C and GPU is around 75 C... Is this normal? Can rise up to 70 C and 90 C when I use it heavily...

My laptop is AMD based Athlon X2, with NVIDIA Geforce GO 6150

The driver is the latest... Is it because of the GPU overclocking? If so, where can I check it and how to downclock it? I tried to check from the BIOS with no result, the only thing I can see is just an option to change the amount of dedicated graphic memory...

but im kinda surprise to hear that HP also got this problem...i tot the air ventilation is better than compact...

then i bet it must be the Geforce 6150's fault ady...im using V3415AU by the way...

i tried to underclock my GC as well, but so far still no progress...like 6150 already set not for ppl to overclock...

i used rivatuner, ntune, nv tray, some registry modding all canot..i also duno why...im blaming 6150 now....who can help us?

okey...i neeed guidance to install xp into my lappy...first i should download all the drivers and save into a thumbdrive..rite...i must download all or only according to the specs of my lappy

the rest i've managed to installed it. thanks for the SMbus and bla bla drivers.

how about your modem device blabla? Where is it categorised after you installed it? mine i ended choosing 'microsoft unsupported softK56 data fax pci modem'...haha..at least it doesn't show the exclamation mark on it.

The VGA is different....the importand thing is wether u can use the S-Video port and The VGA port or not
My dispaly properties do hv 2 display setting and the S-Video and the VGA port all work nicely
bout the moderm...is only use for fax thing using. i think is no very importand to u unless u wan to use
