Erm, I suspected mobo burn also.
This is all the test I've done so far.
1. Ram - tested on another laptop : Work
2. Hdd - tested with a external case : Work

About the heat, I never check my laptop heat cause I not really care about that.
My laptop on for 24/7 without a cooler pad for almost 10 months already.
I mean I do close sometime when I was outstation.
So far no problem, until today, totally cannot on.

Actually AMD turion proc support cool & queit.
cool & queit is a system will cool down the proc with lower vcore and proc speed .So the proc temp will no very high and juz a lil bit lost performance
the proc will speed up when u loading program and speed down when in idle
the vcore so work together
to enable CnQ for Vista is enable option balanced
and to enable for xp u nid to install 2 amd proc driver
1 is AMD Dual-Core Optimizer and other 1 is AMD Processor Driver Version 1.3.2.0053 for Windows XP
after install nid to restart and enable minimal power management at power schemes in power option

Hi guy, I'm Presario V3713AU owner and I need help.. I can't find any windows xp driver for it and my laptop now is just stuck at there.. Where can I get all the driver?

bingo...now we see the problem...you should monitor ur GPU heat...that's the culprit...from what i heard from forumer here is...GPU too hot and burn off some components on the mobo that caused that...so u might wan to send back to service center for a new mobo...nothing to do with RAM nor HDD.

but my point here is...i want my proc to be able to set it to use 800Mhz only...now my proc is running like u said, power down when idle and power up when load more stuffs...im using xp by the way, and last time i cant set it to only 800mhz after i get my lappy back from service center,(duno what the engineer did to my lappy).....so now after i format, i cant set it anymore. so i suspect it's a software problem, not har5dware, coz hardware definitely support...

i already install that 1.3.2.0053 already still no effect...please help

the proc remains at 800Mhz.. shud i change to Balanced or High Performance, it will go up and down between
800Mhz to 1600Mhz..

yes...i want to monitor my heat...when it's too hot, i wan my proc to run at 800mhz only, not more than that....means full load also will set at 800mhz....thanks by the way..=)

i'm using vista btw.. dunno xp have the same or not.. just rite click at the battery icon next to the clock..

then u can use CrystalCPUID ..load it when finish loading windows ..
u can set wat speed u wan mean....from multipier 4x to 9x or 10x depend wat proc u use
u can set the multipier at function AMD K6 / k7 / k8 / lx

I'm looking to buy my cousin a notebook for her collage. I'm looking at the V3751AU as it is cheap and has better specs apple to apple comparison with the Intel versions.

The issue is, I'm going to install XP on the notebook, but I don't find any drivers for it. I've search through HP website and still nothing. Where else can I get the drivers for XP. Please advise.

i tried b4, but using RM CLOCK....this kinda software kinda risky because we under volt it and underclock sometimes without following what is supposed to...i use rm clock to do the job but if once a small wrong setting will get u to BSOD....

im looking for a proc driver or something like chipset driver to enable our own XP control panel power option to set it to 800mhz by only set the option to Portable'laptop...after get my lappy back from hp service center i can do the setting, duno what the engineer did to my laptop...i call him back he said he change MOBO and update bios only...i see my bios also latest now after i format my lappy....but now canot set the proc speed like i can set at power option ady...

erm....i just upgarde my ram from 1gb to 2.5 gb....but since then i realized that my cpu heat start to increase drastically

with 1gb....the usually the heat around 50-60 during playing games
but now...the heat increase to 60-70, sometimes until 80

why it become like that??i thought ram upgrade will not affect the cpu perfomance

lemme answer u.v3k series use 6cells.to check the capacity of power storage..use 'notebook hardware control'..monitor ur battery age and power from that software.its a freeware so don expect more.haha.i think all v3k use 6 cells..if the duration differs, its about the power consumption of the graphic card and proc.the batt stays the same.im using gforce6150..batt only stand for 1hr15min..7150 stands more time than mine.if u can get a substitute batt for longer period, do tell us.its worth a change thou.haha.

both of u trying to luk for v371xAU XP drivers?im sorry we cant provide more coz we are using the earlier version of models..all new models from v37xx are coming in to ask for drivers and din contribute much on the links for the drivers..in the end, everyone juz suggest u use vista.however..u can try to use the drivers from v36xxAU series..it might work on some models.google around to seek help.sorry.if u r kind enuf..do save up the driver links and share it here.thanks.gudluck.

I'm wondering if anyone have any experience with this model? I went by Harvey-Norman store to make a survey, the sales manager said this model got problem?

How about V3752AU? I know its the same with V3751AU only add window Vista and DVD with lightscribe, any other different? V3751AU max ram is only 2GB right? How about V3752AU, I saw a brochure stating that V3752AU max ram is 4GB????

Please please share with me fellow V3751AU/V3752AU owners.....

i fur with vista..4gb is capable.3751 only 2gb becoz depends to the OS ur using..the prob for freedos is u hardly get full drivers from the website for XP drivers.

i'm using nhc software to monitor the heat

hdd temperature not difference....only the cpu heat increase
