I feel the pricing is not really fixed yet, especially the RM8-10? Then Auto-Pay get RM5 off?
RM80/month for unlimited everything seems plausible though |

webe: A New Telco In Malaysia Is About To Go Live
An anonymous tipster has just delivered us a set of mysterious images of what seems to be a SIM card starter pack by a brand called webe. These images were also accompanied by a rather intriguing description that stated: “Malaysia’s first Digital Solutions Provider,”. Well, that sounds like a telco description to us but…who is webe? Truth be told, webe is not exactly a new name in the industry as a local “crowdbacking” platform called webe community made its debut last year. Interestingly, we realized that not only that it has the same name as the upcoming telco but it also has the same logo. A quick whois check on webe community’s URL has showed that the domain is actually owned by Packet One Networks (P1). Furthermore, there is also a clock on the website that is counting down to 13 April which apparently is the day that the platform will reveal its future projects as well as the people behind the webe community itself. It is also the day that P1 is expected to announce its transition into a mobile telco after securing cellular capability from Celcom earlier this year. Given their relationship and the picture that we received earlier today, we don’t think it just a mere coincidence that P1 and webe community has chosen 13 April as the date for their big announcement. Of course, nothing is official at the moment until it is confirmed by related parties. webe community Countdown Nevertheless, we’ll continue to be on the look out for more info related to the new telco up leading to the webe community and P1’s big announcement day on 13 April. -Source- lowyat.NET |

QUOTE(stephantsen @ Apr 6 2016, 10:33 PM) hey may i ask why your phone can search 3G 2G and LTE signal separately? my one is group together I guess it's very much phone dependent the way it display the cell tower. i can get the new telco signal too in wangsa maju Am using mate 8 to detect the signal. |

QUOTE(l_liet @ Apr 7 2016, 09:43 AM) they do bundle phone for their plan rmX one, the safest of course are those modelsbut after details unveiled, of course can get from open market the similar model or specifications, i don believe they work the way like YES create their own brand of phone (very bad sales) as said, while TM holding 850mhz & 2600mhz, it can fine tune how it going to apply to "plans" such as for plan got quota one ride on faster band band 40 (2.3GHz) or 38 (2.6GHz), now most probably band 38 tdd of P1 to be utilised first as P1 said wanna slowly convert it existing wimax customers base 2.3GHz to LTE later. so tm-p1 may have 3 bands to offer LTE finally. then for that unlimited quota rm80 put on 850mhz to save capacity, it already unlimited quota, how can u complain unfair? |

couldn't detect p1's 502-153 at klcc. could detect tmgo's 502-11 though. wonder if p1 will roam on tmgo.

If its really unlimited quota, TM/P1/Webe need to be prepared. Because this is wireless and not wired. Congestion of wireless > wired Anyway, really looking forward to subscribe this plan |

QUOTE(verticalar @ Apr 7 2016, 12:04 PM) yes, very limited. not only in kedah, i detected it in downtown jb and downtown kl. but the pricing is very attractive. 7gb for rm50 valid for 60 days. hoping p1's pricing will be similar. |

For the beginning stage, this should be good enough as a wireless internet solution at a fixed location like at home or workplace. To use it as a mobile phone line would be risky if you frequently travel around due to their network coverage.
One possible solution I can see is to roam with Celcom 2G network whenever there is no network coverage from webe. Good for calls/SMS and slow speed data which should still allow messages from WhatsApp etc. |
