Morning people. Newbie here.

I live in a high-rise in Cyberjaya, and found out that TIME fibre broadband coverage is available in my area.

I would like to know if TIME is pleasant to use in general e.g. rare down times, getting the speed as advertised.

Former unifi user here.

Thanks for your interest on Time Fibre

There is no disconnection, lag and downtime when you subscribe TIME.

Refer to your PM for more info.

New Time subscriber here from Cyberjaya. Comparing to my previous provider, Time is 100x more reliable in terms of connection as well as the service they provide. Easier to get to Tech reps and easy to use user portal.
*
Great to hear that you enjoyed using Time Fibre.

Time stability is better than the other provider.

The Self care portal is made easy for customer to use.

Have a nice day

So far so good...better then the DLink provided by Time..managed to eliminate blind spot at my master bedroom..

Thanks. The speed and performance quality OK?

Warranty got problem to claim? Got problem while connecting?
Signal strength and speed better than D-Link Stock Router?

Heard one shop said this brand not many sales and no advertise.

What is the speed test on 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi?

Hi, I'll be moving into a new residential area which covered by TIME. I would like to register with one of the reseller here, already contacted him and willing to do registration by tomorrow.

Anyway, I'm still thinking wether to go for 100mbps or straight away 300mbps (add RM50 for 3x speed is so tempting). Another thing is how is the D-Link router provided by TIME is doing? Do i need to change to 3rd party router to extract full speed or the D-Link is good enough.

House is only 890sqft with 2 bedrooms. In terms of signals, i think it should covered whole area of my house. Really cannot wait to experience TIME since i come from RM141/m of 2MB streamyx.

If there's a suggestion of aftermarket router, kindly list the models so i can google around. Thanks.
*
If you wish to subscribe.
Refer to your PM.

The stock router provided by TIME got many problems
Speed not full and signal strength not stable in the room.

If your devices can support AC then go for 300Mbps plan or else on WiFi cannot get that speed.
On LAN can get full 300Mbps.

Thanks.

hi anyone know how to connect the laptop to modem? i'm on 300mbps but getting only 85mbps using cable to linksys ea1200. Waiting for new router to arrive.
*
Hi, Linksys LAN port can support up to 100Mbps only.
It is not a Gigabit port

Using LAN cable to connect from Laptop to WiFi Router.
This model is an old model unable to support up to 100Mbps.

My suggestion is to change WiFi Router.

The D-Link and the new Linksys Router can support 300Mbps.

Getting 100 Mbps in my living room. Furthest point I can get about 50-60 Mbps. Compared to D Link which I only get around 20-30 Mbps. It also has auto reboot maintain daily which is good for the router to clear up memory.

Warranty is 3 years. So it's not bad. Brand name not as famous like TP link or Dlink hence the cheaper price
*
Thanks for the review.

Yeap recommended me Tenda AC15.

Still comparing Tenda AC15 and TP-Link Archer C9.

Which one suits me?

Yeah under Astro iptv.
Considering stopping Astro and sign up for 100mbps, just wanted to test the speed first for streaming
*
Streaming is good.
However, the new D-Link stock router from TIME just so-so only.

Over LAN and 5GHz is the best.
100Mbps good for Downloading, Streaming and Gaming.

meaning we have no control over where Time wants to provide fiber internet service?

in order to make fiber available at my area means I have to bear full cost of the installation of fiber to my place?
*
TIME will improve the coverage.
You cannot force TIME to do.

There is a big project if landed property to have TIME.
Need to lay Fibre Cable under the road.

Don't mind if I ask prolly when will open for residential by any chance?
Thinking whether get a boardband and wait till Time started or get others company (Uni or C)'s expensive but slow and unstable Internet and change to Time once they have.
*
It will be soon if they will make coverage for that building.
You can subscribe Unifi or Streamyx or Maxis.
After that, you can apply easy switch.

Only TM and Maxis got an offer to use easy switch.
