At the moment the big three telco are pretty quiet so I believe they can still maintain the current offerings for a while unlike back then when the telco war was so intense they kept on releasing/revising plans.

By the way, any news of VoLTE or VoWiFi? Approaching Q4 already but still nothing much on it.

Seems like LTE inside 1 Utama is having some issue, can't seem to load anything on it. Force to 3G and it loads again.

Same here, can't tap the Freebies Redemption yet. I'm on Digi Postpaid 78V (Ambassador Plan).

The Freebies Redemption option is not working. However, you can see this promo under Internet Add-On (like how you would purchase additional data). The 888MB promo is in here and it's RM0.00 so I "purchased" it and 888MB credited to my account, valid for 5 days.

QUOTE(icez @ Aug 25 2016, 10:56 PM) I recently ported into DiGi and I realised 2 things: 1) Could happen if the phone is switching constantly between 3G/LTE due to signal strength.1. The phone is hotter than usual 2. The coverage is poorer than Celcom/Maxis, even in popular place like TTDI Does anyone else experience the same? Btw, I use an iPhone 5S on iOS9. 2) Depends as this is subjective. Example, Digi may have better coverage at south part of TTDI while Maxis is better at north part of TTDI. One thing for sure, I noticed Digi is still slightly behind when it comes to indoor coverage. |

QUOTE(dani_irwan @ Aug 26 2016, 08:03 PM) Hmmm, I'm currently subscribing to their Broadband 185 plan. 30+70GB. But now I see they up the peak quota from 30GB to 40GB. Will I, as an existing subscriber, be given 40GB peak quota as well? Or is this just for new sign ups? Saw from their Twitter replying to someone which asked similar thing, they said existing subscriber will get the upgraded quota, it will be reflected in your next billing cycle. |

QUOTE(andcorps @ Sep 14 2016, 04:02 PM) Hey does anyone notice that since iOS device updated Digi also updated the Carrier Firmware to ver. 25.1. On iPhone 5 it change from LTE to 4G, whatabout anybody else? Does this signify something or it just a matter of label changes? I guess it's to be more consistent with the rest and for easier understanding. We have been so used to 'G', 2G then 3G and now 4G.Also, they have changed DiGi to Digi to reflect the changes in their logo as well. So yes, matter of label change only. |
