Do you mean to say because my line is inactive thus Digi has no way to deduct my credits and therefore barring me from receiving calls? blink.gif

Yes.

I don't think other telcos do it any differently from Digi.

I changed for free from micro to nano at Digi Store BBT klang.

Did they just cut from the micro SIM or issue a completely new one?

Yup.  Personally asked their staff and she said completely new.  They don't just cut.  rclxm9.gif

I hope Digi will consider issuing the "3-size" SIM cards in future, like what Maxis is doing now.

To terminate a line, it is very troublesome to go to Digi Centre as it will be a long wait. Instead I MNP out to other mobile operator's prepaid. It is an easier option this way.
*
The poster requesting the JB info is living and working in Singapore. He wants to terminate a Digi postpaid line because it's under-used. Why would he MNP to another Malaysian telco when he's mostly not in Malaysia?

neareast one from sg is City Square. walk away from tambak johor.
J3-04, Level 3, Johor Bahru City Square, 106-108, Jalan Wong Ah Fook, 80000 Johor Bahru, Johor.
Operating Hours

This outlet can terminate line?
*
I think the location that pcbase mentioned is a Digi Store Express, which I don't think can do account terminations.

Here's another JB Digi Store, even closer to CIQ checkpoint:
    Block 6-G-35
    Danga Walk
    Batu 4½, Jalan Skudai
    80200 Johor Bahru

You do not get the point. You can MNP to other operator Prepaid and let the line expires. In this way, you will save the hassle to go to DiGi centre to terminate the line as MNP can be done in any dealer.
*
True, but still have to cross into Malaysia to do it, so the hassle is only slightly less.

Interesting, I just popped into a Digi Store Express here in Penang to casually ask about MNP to Digi Prepaid. They said they only do MNP to Digi Postpaid. MNP to Prepaid must be done at a Digi Store (not Express).

Indeed it is. But as willaw mentioned, this plan doesn't come with free SMS. If you're a heavy SMS user, then this plan is not so good for you. But if you are still using SMS but only sending a few SMS every bill cycle, this is still a very good plan.
*
In the period Jan-Jun 2016, I sent a grand total of 0 (zero) paid SMS messages. Why? Because WhatsApp biggrin.gif

I'm still using SMS now as I noticed it takes some time for some people to reply WhatsApp messages. Besides, some people also do not switch on their data all the time to save battery. So these days I'll use WhatsApp only when I do not need you to reply me fast (something akin to a casual chat). SMS when I need a fast response from you but not necessary an immediate reply. If it is urgent then I'll call right away.
*
To each his own then. People like me won't care for any free SMS tacked on to a plan. That was my point. Just because other people want free SMS doesn't mean I do. (And if I can help it, I'm not about to subsidise those who do.)

Anyone receive this offer?

We like you to have this unbeatable offer:
Special promotion for Digi Postpaid 68 More Calls & SMS
Enjoy these benefits for only RM68 per month!
•  3GB + FREE extra 12GB Internet
•  Unlmited Calls
•  Unlimited SMS to 3 Digi Friends
*
3+12 = 15

My guess is Digi is shadowing U Mobile's Hero Postpaid P70 plan.

I think the extra 12GB / month will only last for 12 months at most (or when U Mobile ends their extra 8GB) after which it'll revert to 3GB / month.

Anyone got the T&C for this?

Don't know why you're harping on the Ramadan offer. The reduction to 10GB affects ALL monthly data passes (except 650MB pass) on Digi's prepaid.

The way Digi dealt with the Super Long Life issue makes me think that they have developed a thick skin when it comes to customer relations. Certainly they've scored a few own goals along the way, like not allowing existing Digi account holders to enjoy the 2GB free weekend data. (Now that I've ported out, I find that I'm quite comfortable with Hotlink and am in no hurry to port back in.)

I guess the lesson learnt is to keep reading LYN for any new deals to snag. And NEVER expect any good deals to last forever.

I just imagine right now in Digi's HQ, there is a well-read book lying around called "How to Piss Off Your Customer Base in Several Easy Steps".

No worries guys, cool down! I think this only applicable to those with very good criteria. At least not many people got this promo! Maybe limited to a few customers only!

perhaps those customer spending 1,xxx a month...as my bill between 200-500 also never eligible..perhaps i am not on latest plan...my payment is always on time, never late too.
if people sending 1,xxx may not like if digi offer only 68 rm + 12gb....
*
Someone here (Post #1312) claims he is eligible for this offer despite being on prepaid.
