I just noticed on my 78v account I can no longer purchase the 3GB weekend add-on. It has disappeared as a purchase option. But the 8GB for RM10 top-up is still there.

At the time DiGi was still offering the old postpaid plan with device on contract. When DiGi revamped their postpaid offerings, they did not offer the same upgrade to existing contracted postpaid subscribers with device.
*
This is normal for contracts, I would have thought. Why would the telco subsidise the phone if they don't get something in return?

Some are hoping to get the same upgrade like what Maxis did for its customers tied to MaxisONE Plan with device.
*
Maxis did what they did because they screwed up big time and had to repair the PR damage.

Generally I find most contracted plans tied with a device to be not worth it.

for some reason, my colleague who signed a 2 years plan for an Asus phone was offered an free upgrade
he did show me the sms notification stating substantial upgrade in call time and data .....
*
Then you should ask Digi why they are practising preferential treatment for some and not others. These telcos have only themselves to blame when they give special deals to a small minority and then pretend everything is business as usual for the majority of users.

Please don't.

I have someone in my household with a Nokia 100 on Best Prepaid v4.

Average no. of calls per month: <0.5.
Average internet usage a month: 0 kb.

Since yesterday evening the Digi 4G signal in my area has been very up and down; from very good to non-existent.

It's been cycling through 3G > H > 4G > 🚫 and back again. Maybe they're upgrading the network.

Hi guys, my current prepaid plan is digi smart prepaid v1, I seem to have problems sending sms to special numbers for those banks e.g. 68833. How do I solve this?
*
Call your bank to find out if this short code is specific to certain telcos. Call Digi CS at 016-2211800 to find out if they have known issues with this short code.

QUOTE(Argiope @ Jun 21 2016, 11:29 AM)
Guys, trying to get a confirmation here.

I'm holding a prepaid line and do not live in Malaysia. Therefore it makes sense for me to leave my number in expired state (90 days from last active date) to receive SMS/important calls and perform a reload when the 90 days due is approaching. And i should be able to receive incoming calls, regardless of whether i'm in Malaysia or not (via roaming).

The reason why i ask is because recently i'm not able to receive important calls from Malaysia. Digi claimed that oh it's because i'm roaming and thus would not be able to receive calls if my line is expired (but still within 90 days from last active state).

Has this not been the case for some of you who stay overseas?
*
While I haven't personally been overseas with an inactive (but not cancelled) line, I would expect what Digi said to be correct.

Remember, when you're overseas, any incoming call is re-routed to your host telco from Digi and that host telco will eventually bill Digi for that. So Digi, on seeing that your line is inactive, have every right to block the call from happening.

superlong live for digi best prepaid v2, how much to topap to subscibr for 1 year validity ?

SLL in v2 is RM68. I presume so long as you have >RM68 credit you can subscribe.

Someone did mention earlier you have to have at least RM69 credit to subscribe to SLL.
