I don't think so, terminating the line cause cause you to loose the number as it no longer belongs to anyone and thus MNP will fail.

I am using S7E, LTE-A can be just as slow as normal LTE. I know this is LTE-A because I checked through *#0011# which is only available to Samsung's phone only IIRC. If I am not mistaken Digi doesn't show LTE-A as 4G+ for reasons unknown. Only Maxis and Celcom do.

BTW this is at Air Hitam,Penang.
