Total BS...i upgrade from 5mb to 10mb to 50mb to 100mb....never get charged...

Actually if you ask me now, I wouldn't mind upgrading to 30Mbps from 20Mbps now. 50Mbps just great for download and streaming but after checking the logs, 30Mbps is adequate for a family of 5.

It is lot cheaper than VIP20. Worth subscribing imo

Its a complete new plan. No questions as VIP is no longer the package offered though many is still on VIP packages. Price yes, its definitely gives us little to worry. Otherwise, TM looking to discontinue VIP5, VIP10.

Hey guys, still deciding whether should I get unifi or not. Currently using maxis 2mbps at RM90/m

I've read some of the problem with unifi, but not sure if its true or not and since you guys already own it, maybe you can answer it from your own experiences. So here is the questions:
1. If my internet slow/problem, would the customer service give instant reply to the problem (live in Shah Alam) ?
2.  If I download something from the cloud ie: gigabytes of photos or videos overnight (I edit photos and videos for a living mostly wedding) would it be interrupted and maybe corrupt? (experienced in maxis)
3. If my roommate watch hypptv while I on mmo, would it effect the ping on my mmo?
4. If I play mmo and suddenly a roommate downloaded/streaming drama, would it effect my ping on mmo?

Hey guys, got a mail from TM that my VIP10 has been upgraded to Unifi 30, and was instructed in mail that i should turn off my modem (the silver one i assume) for 5 minutes, since i'm not home, i asked my mom to shut it off and turn it back on after 5 minutes, right now its not able to connect to internet.

Just curious what else do you guys do other than shutting down the modem?

Hmm, when i got that mail, i teamviewed my desktop at home to do a speed test and its still on 10Mbps (through LAN), that's why i asked my mom to do a restart, but now the router isn't getting any IP i assume since internet is not accessible now.

I just got my VIP5 installed end of March this year.
Why they still offer to me if they are going to discontinue it?

My friends using 30Mbps also gets the same result as yours.

Mine dropped from 102Mbps to 94Mbps.
