Got a few questions here. Just been using UNIFI 30mb for 2nd day.

Is it correct to say that my speed is split into the number of devices connected? Say I have 4-5 devices connected, its all automatically capped to 7mb each?

Its weird that I have set in the D-Link Router (DIR-850L) that under QOS as the following:

Highest
PC

High
2nd PC

Medium
Handphone devices

How is it that my PC get the same Wifi connection speed of 7mb as all the rest of the devices connected?

i tried enquire them yesterday for special offer for loyal user... but the call centre person told me no more 179 for 30mb.

only 199 for 30mb available at the moment

but it was contradict with the info i get hence, i email their customer service again on the dissatisfaction and considering to switch to other internet provider if no good offer.

i got a call with absolutely no discount whatsoever today. wonder why they bother to even call then. guess its because i am still under contract for 2 more months. declined and told them i have no intention to pay more than what i currently pay for my VIP20.

EDIT: just noticed that contract started feb/14. so i should be out of contract already. so for a better deal i have to call and threaten to cancel right?

I also received a call yesterday asking me to upgrade my 10Mbps to 30Mbps, from RM179(inclusive GST) to RM199(not sure total or without GST) + Ruby pack. Still considering whether it worth the upgrade.

received a call from tm telemarketer suggeting me to upgrade my VIP10 @RM179 including GST to 30mbps @RM189 including GST. the only downside of the offer is no more free call to fixed line.

After contract expire back to RM199.00 + 6% = RM210.95nett

contract will expire after 2 years. by that time there might be better plan with cheaper price from other provider. with the RM10 difference vs 3x faster speed, i think i will take this offer and live with it for the coming 2 years.

I read their report work flow...need to go to CFM or CMCF first ( if not resolve with provider for 15 days after report). if still no feedback from provider or not satisfied after CFM or CMCF action then we go to MCMC.
