if the port already full, so your house also cannot used even got the point(from previous owner) as the previous port already given to other subscriber in my opinion.

yup basically verification only need hp number... previously i help my aunt as her modem kaput and change new modem for her... just call 100 and said need password and remember they just ask number phone that registered for that particular account..

for safe measures, just ask i/c number from the owner...

you must said that him is your family and dunno about anything.... not as tech savvy and then they will help as you said that you only know little bit about setup the router...

just speak with them nicely...just said like saya hubungi atas permintaan abang ipar/adik ipar sebab dia minta saya tolong dia. sebab saya telah tengok router telah rosak dan saya telah beli router yang baru cuma abg/adik saya tidak mendapat salinan/atau tak jumpa. jadi saya mohon jasa baik en untuk memberi kata laluan tersebut agar saya dapat melakukan konfigurasi pada router tersebut. abg/adik saya ada dengan saya ni... then keep going on the lakonan like they ask ic or phone, make sure you like speaking to other person there....

so far my 50mbps here not effected, still more 50mbps (usually 52-55mbps)... but sometime slow during peak hours....

speedtest not affected but contains will affected like youtube and fb... beside that my dp out there is fully subscribe based on tm system(i am the luckiest to get last port)....

by the way, it can be culprit that the cable connection might be loose little bit and impact on your speed... just one factor also...

(just bought fiber tester meter and it can measure signal strength... so far i try get around -16.5dB)
