QUOTE(usernameINVALID @ May 3 2016, 06:41 PM) hi guys can i not pay my unifi bills while not cancelling my unifi line the line is at KL while im in johor but i figure i wanna keep the line just becoz is there a way? you want to keep the line... it is up to you whether want to pay or not because TM still charged your whether you use or not.... if pay every month, your record is good. if not there when you want to cancel, the cost is depend on what your plan times how many month you didnt pay plus blacklisted name from tm(and maybe go to others parties like banks and telcos...)

QUOTE(ericpires @ May 3 2016, 11:06 PM) Guys, my laptop can connect to Wifi 5ghz. But my TP Link - WN727N (using PC) cannot connect to the Wifi 5ghz. How to solve this? QUOTE(kebeckham7 @ May 3 2016, 11:08 PM) I think wireless N only support 2.4Ghz signal, that's why your adapter only appear 2.4Ghz ssid....correct me if I'm wrong QUOTE(jack2001 @ May 3 2016, 11:11 PM) Not all wireless adapters are created equal, some support 5ghz some don't. Wireless N has support for 5 ghz. IIRC, 5ghz was introduced alongside wireless n QUOTE(kebeckham7 @ May 3 2016, 11:12 PM) thanks for the correction Ii is N class with 2.4ghz band... it is not dual band usb wifi adapter... http://www.tp-link.com/lk/products/details...#specifications on their spec you can see only support 2.4ghz only... so need to upgrade dual band or upgrade to ac for future....

QUOTE(kkm @ May 5 2016, 11:12 AM) But Najib says I sign doesn't mean I know and approve! QUOTE(vincent_utopia @ May 5 2016, 11:51 AM) you dont have power there....hahahahah but i not sure how we are approve by what... basically on first time application, yes we sign the contract...but when we upgrade on what basis they hold our consent to them? i dont think we sign new contract... only we been charge on duty stamp... with out our consent or approval, supposed the contract is void? then why we need to resend back contract for ptptn when we change to ujrah from conventional one? cannot like telco ar??? QUOTE(ComradeZ @ May 11 2016, 05:23 PM) ok thanks thanks so much for the answers, I was worried abt the hypptv invading the internet experience, I guess those were just rumors (which I discussed with a friend in mmo who heard it from his own friend) I guess its better to have tv with internet, since my roommate is hogging the internet while streaming online tv. maybe what you heard about hypptv invading from friend using vdsl tech and their infra is not good enough... if landed.... there is no way hypptv will kacau the internet as the tagging is different and fiber capable of throughput up to 2.25gbps speed(GPON if not mistaken)...(not sure total throughput for tm....)

actually, based on SKMM standard, throughput of the bandwidth(utilized) compare to ads is must more than 90% from end user to the nearest edge node of regional broadband network... you can find it here... http://www.skmm.gov.my/Sectors/Broadband/Q...aspx?lang=ms-MYand you can download the determination(more detail) under fasa 2, no. 3, determination 1/2007(broadband services). so if you get under 90%, can bising2 to tm... but more than 90%... very hard to get more speed....remember minimum speed for all plan is 4.5mbps, 9mbps, 18mbps, 27mbps, 45mbps and 90mbps...<- this is minimum throughput they can ignore you base on skmm regulation...(but sometimes they malas to argue more, give another few mbps extra to customer)...

QUOTE(voncrane @ May 12 2016, 07:01 PM) Good info to know.. Additional info required, please... Because i remember that they want to change up to 95% throughput but tm ask skmm to put 90%(in my opinion...) previous is 80% throughput from what they advertise...(maybe during that time ftth want to be operated, that why skmm choose 95%) by the way... wow... 50mbps just less than rm150??? ke less than 250...hihihi if true, very good offer la(except if his is oku or tm staff...)hihihih

QUOTE(fruitie @ May 13 2016, 11:47 PM) That was what he said earlier. My room only RM 305 after price increased this month. Been staying here since I first came to KL for internship. Though this is a little room but it used to capture 60Mbps of LTE speed back in 2013 when nobody else got that speed. nowadays... everything is expensive.... mengharap tm turun harga 10mbps dulu2 dia tawarkan 30mbps pulak... lucky dapat harga diskaun 20ringgit... tapi kalau boleh 50mbps tu bawah 200 lagi bagus...dan tv takyah nak langgan....

QUOTE(zher4883 @ May 18 2016, 06:32 PM) More than 80% of advertised speed is achieved. Nothing to complain about. I believe with a better router, you could achieve higher speed over wifi it is not 80%... now the skmm standard is 90%....less than that you may complaint...

QUOTE(blackbox14 @ May 26 2016, 12:01 PM) I applied for moving Unifi to new house last Monday. Everything checked out and the TM point person told me that the move will be made on Friday, which is tomorrow. They will cut my line at old house 3 days before installation at new house, correct? Problem is, my line at old house is still working. I'm using it to type this post now. is it they call you before they cut? mine moving from shah alam to johor, the call to confirm installation and during that call they ask to terminate the line at shah alam(at the moment i at johor). then my family there whatsapp no internet line...heheh but if i smart that time, just register new line only... not to moving as will get new devices... suddenly feel stupid after moving my unifi...

QUOTE(MusicForLife @ Jun 2 2016, 04:47 PM) Guys, I just subscribed unifi, installer came and said it's shared BTU with maxis, previous owner used Maxis, so in order for them to install I need to buy the BTU, logged the case to TM, 1 week no response, so I have decided to buy the BTU unit, can I buy second hand unit, is it locked or preprogrammed? can I use it for my new line? previous owner didnt return the BTU modem ka? if true, that will be TM problem to trace back the old owner to get back their property.. as for your application, they must to provide the new customer with new devices.... if they talk macam macam, straight complain to CFM or SKMM for fast action....
