Btw just got myself a Asus rt-ac66u to replace new useless tm router. Now dunno what to do with my new tm router LOL. To sell it how much can I put ? Also I have a backup router RT N12 Asus incase anything happen to my rt-ac66u. Initially plan to get rt-ac68u but huhu on the price side.
Now the wireless side more stable and my family can happily use on high speed side keke This post has been edited by doremon: May 6 2016, 09:12 AM |

QUOTE(sHawTY @ May 7 2016, 12:20 PM) That's quite a tight budget for a dual band router unless you're willing to go with TP-Link sifu sudah voice out heheheSpeaking from personal experience, I wouldn't suggest them If you want a reliable ASUS router with dual band, then my suggestion is to get RT-N66U, but it's a little bit out of your budget About RM729 If you don't mind buying 2nd hand units, you can find a used RT-AC68U in the garage sales for RM700 Some of them still carry 1 ~ 2 year warranty from ASUS |

QUOTE(cannavaro @ May 7 2016, 10:40 PM) Have you tried doing a speedtest using a different pc/network card? Which btu version u using ? Say if I wanna request for a new btu how ah ? Just call TM and say change btu ???During my installation, when the TM guy ran the test on his laptop (wired to the router), the speed was only 94-ish, then he took a pic of it and wrote on the installation document. I asked him why cannot get 100 Mbps? He said 'can but sometimes only' Immediately I ran a speedtest on my desktop right in front of him, and BAMMM it hit the 100.x Mbps mark. Did it numerous times, lowest speed I got was 99.x Mbps. No reaction from the guy though. |
