Probably because it happen at exactly the same time. They were already travelling happily. Plus all 4 brokeback guys are still able to use teleportation / warp etc as seen in FF:Brotherhood.

I thought all magical powers are dismissed once Regis fella died?

I remember in one of the trailers... Noctis yells : "But he sent me off with a smiling face.." probably referring to his father. Which means they only knew of what happend to Insomnia during the course of the game.

in the new 1 hour gameplay video, can see Noctis and gang only learned about their hometown's demise from newspaper after they reach their next stop. Then they decided to go back.

hey guys, I can't really decide on where to pre-order FFXV as the physical copy and digital copy gives different things. digital copy gives the season pass but does not include the royal raiment set and vice versa. anyone faced the similar problem? doh.gif

In addition to a new first-person camera mode, the โ€œultimate qualityโ€ port features 4K high-res textures, Dolby Atmos, realistic grass simulation, advanced hair simulation, combustible fluid, fire and smoke simulation, advanced shadow algorithms, high quality ambient occlusion, Ansel screenshots, and more.

Square Enix has yet to make an official announcement for the PC port, but weโ€™ll likely hear more about it very soon.

Final Fantasy XV: Windows Edition will release in early 2018 and will feature all DLCs made available for the game.

Hmmm I'll have to reserve judgement on the game until we see more comparisons with the console version. I have the game on Xbox One, but haven't really played it much. Now that we know the game will be enhanced for Xbox One X, I want to see how the PC version stacks up when running in 4K.

still getting the game regardless as a fan of FF series

but kinda disappointing looking at the system requirements

let's hope my rx580 with 3rd gen i5 core can play this on 1080 @ medium-high

is it just me or is anyone else bothered by the 'windows edition'?

I find it odd that PCs never really embraced Bluray as a storage medium. We do have Bluray drives on the market, but there's no real reason to have a BDROM or BDRW drive besides just playing Bluray movies. Are there even games that ship on BDROM?

nope. there's no reason for common pc user to upgrade to Blu-Ray as DVD is still reliable. and PC gaming more into digital rather than physical.
