Pro Graphic and Action teleporting/warping style of combat what there to hate? Amazing CGI The last 30min is the only worth watching part IMHO.
Con Typical boring FF story Tech Empire vs Magical Kingdom steal a princess and only one hero,the chosen one can wield the magical items to save the princess and people from the bad man. 2h of watching how the kingdom of Lucis fall Non stop of the word "Hero" mention like i wont know who is the hero in this whole movie. Not a single summon i guess they are keeping them all for the Game. Only relatable summon is the statue that represent the king of the old helping i guess. From the start till beginning my destiny my purposes blah2 but no explanation wait for the game again i guess. Noctis name mention like the gazillion time then again where is him? wait for the game..
watch it today. its not bad but some character animation is just weird - not smooth enough? like the princess lips when talking
i think FF7 : AC is much more higher quality but nevertheless this Kingsglaive is very enjoyable as well especially the battle scene this makes me more interested to get PS 4.5 just for FF XV

You know, the after credit ending kinda disappointed me and spoil the mood. After everything that Nyx done and the princess went thru, I was expecting a after credit ending where Noctis and his companions looking at the Insomnia capital from afar and prepared to counter attack while saying "its about time" ala Cloud wanna raid Shinra mansion in FF7. But then, the after credit scene just shown they go driving sightseeing suka suka chatting "Oh I can't wait to see the princess, hehehehe". Even Zack also facepalm if he sees Cloud like that.

there's a possibility that in game noctis will lose his powers after regis' death and for the next few hours have to use super weak noct until he got the ring

Probably because it happen at exactly the same time. They were already travelling happily. Plus all 4 brokeback guys are still able to use teleportation / warp etc as seen in FF:Brotherhood.
I thought all magical powers are dismissed once Regis fella died?
I remember in one of the trailers... Noctis yells : "But he sent me off with a smiling face.." probably referring to his father. Which means they only knew of what happend to Insomnia during the course of the game.
