play on demo for about an hour...
i feel like im going to love this game a lot... probably due to im playing FF13 now, where the story is quite linear, and not like FF15, an open world..

Oh no , don't be tricked by the book's cover .

Only half of the game is open world , the other half of FF15 is unfinished , rushed , loosely tied , extremely linear with some of the worst presentation I have ever seen in a RPG of recent years.

Open world doesn't make a game better , the FF team's creative well has run dry ages ago .
FF15 practically bring nothing new on the table , but insisted it has caught up with the open world trend but in reality they are still a decade behind

Although I still think the game is worth checking out , at the very least.

Try not to hop on the nostalgia train when you are playing new games especially for Final Fantasy . The old Squaresoft we used to love practically doesn't exist anymore.

Yes I agree with how the game becomes linear after certain chapter, but creativity wise it's still there. The combat is really fresh and smooth. Magic wise it's very realistic as well.

As for summons, it's creative in a way too but the conditions to trigger them is really hard. Have you tried to platinum the game? There are actually many side activities to do. Secret dungeon etc.

Grrr Steam ver won't even launch. Downloading MS Store ver now bangwall.gif
MS Store version seems to starts fine, but Xbox Live is down across the globe bangwall.gif
Screw all these try-hard-smart-arse DRM platforms.

Is there not even a standalone version available?

Login to your account in GMG, go to My Profile at the top right corner, then click Your Purchases. Games that you already bought will appear there. When the game is ready, you will also see the serial number or Steam key there.
