At first I also thought about it, but just to make things easier, Steam is the way to go. I don't necessarily hate Windows Store, but the games on Windows Store rarely gets discounted. Also, mod support is not allowed in Windows Store games, if you care about such things. I'm not sure if this has changed. Origin version should be the same as Steam version, but they also rarely get discounted. Steam titles by comparison often have seasonal sales, which may eventually get more purchases down the line.

It's RM194.96 initially. If you have a discount code it will be cheaper. I think you can use the VIP20 code to get a 20% guaranteed discount. Just remember to enter the voucher code before you pay. I bought it for RM155.97 after 20% discount.

It's sent only to specific members. Basically they send you an email to you personally. I don't know if the voucher can be shared though. In the past I've also gotten these kinds of special vouchers, but not this time. So I just used VIP20 code to get 20% off.

Not yet. You will receive an email notification when the game launches. Then you need to login to GMG, go to your game library, click on Final Fantasy XV. You will be given a serial key that you can activate in Steam.
