I edy stopped using the avocado once I've gotten the suprimo...U should check it out..but it leaks like a beech if u don't wick it properly..especially when your using a 1.5mm coil diameter...I had to put extra cotton on the wick itself so it will be tight at the small holes to get it stop leaking from the airholes..but overall it's the best dripper tank I've ever used...
*
I have bad luck with channel wickers lol (trauma from GobMini). I'll just wait until they figure out how to make JC for them Genny-likes.

Besides, even when I can't tip the 'Cado over, like I said I like the ability to be able to access my coils at a moment's notice regardless of juice levels... though that also means I can easily lose the cap if I'm not careful lol.

And the flavour. Mmmmm.

BTW, have you tried the Aromanizer Supreme? A lot of folks are raving over that one.

It was my friends, i didnt change anything. Dual coil. Tastes good. But what got me excited was the deck. Im passing by vape empire in a minute. I hope the force is strong in me if not imma gonna go broke before raya.
*
Good luck. Between the resurgence of my interest in vaping gear and my newfound love for Nerf modding, I'm already flat broke. Hopefully 1 year bonus this year for Raya or aidailor.

Thankfully the 'Cado is good enough for me (YMMV) I can stop looking for new gears for a while and enjoy what I have lol.

Though that Aromanizer does look pretty nice.

I myself enjoy a warm flavorsome vape, you reckon the Avo'24 will achieve that running in single Claptons?
*
It should lol. The 'Cados are apparently good enough already with a single normal coil really. I just like the over-the-top density of flavour it gives with two (though it does come with the minus of it drinking like an alcoholic Jap salaryman).

After all, it was the tank that actually made me shift to DTL after years of MTL. The flavour is just that good (for me ler) even with a lung hit.

Ah well...maybe one day you'll find the proper wicking method for it. I've wicked the v1 before without much issue, and from what I've seen, the V1/2 decks don't seem to differ much.

Just got a notification...Vivaport on Shopee's flogging Vapor Tech kanthal @ RM8/30' spool in various gauges, free shipping! Thought I'd mention it since u said u liked that wire.
*
So yeah, I apparently have bad luck with channel feeders. Taifun-types and Genny-likes I can live with lol. Plus while I like fiddling, I can only fiddle so much before I give up and settle for a simpler tank.

And thanks for the kanthal notification... though I can't even finish what I have yet lol.

Eiraku did you get the black or SS Avo 24?

I bought my last night, the black one.

There's no silicone seal beneath the top fill and the glasses that came with it, both are clear. I thought one would be clear one would be frosted ? Hmm..

My first wick job is horrible, leaking like an open tap
Also:
I checked the authenticity of my geek vape product, but it said "the security code has been checked 1 time on Geekvape website.

Is that a normal notification?
I asked the vendor about it and he said he used the security code to check the authenticity first in case of clone.
*
Very weird in regards with the authentication bit. But before we go on, I'm actually running the Baby 'Cado, not the 24. So yeah, I don't even have a filling port lol.

Back to authentication. Looking at the FT 'Cado, and review units, I saw that they had the green "Avocado" tank rings installed and not the black ones (as on mine). Got a bit concerned and went straight back to the box for the codes, and straightaway got the "congratulations, your product is authentic" thing - none of that "your code have been checked" crap.

My theory is its open boxed and used. I'm giving the folks at VH the benefit of the doubt, it might be authentic but it might also be a return (because of the seals missing - GV does have their moments).

Or like, nekkidgramma said, it might be their supplier ripping them off pun. We don't know.

That said, the missing glass is really dodgy. As much as GV can be variable, they are also quite generous as far as manufacturers go: I have two of them ceramic blocks and silicone plugs, when Youde only gives you one with the GMv2. I can't see how the 'Cado 24 can come with single glass when even the Baby comes with two.

Check out the FT pics for the 24: Clearly two tanks and silicone on the filling ports for the blacks.

Hopefully you got that awesome orange tool thing though (us Baby folks only got a shitty Allen key).

I see, always thought you had the 'Cado 24.

Weird thing is, the 'Scratch and Check' part was untouched. How in the world did they (VH) get the code to check if it's authentic from their vendors? Dodgy dodgy.

Hm, they gave me two glasses. I was under the impression where I'd get a clear and a frosted glass. In my case, I got two clear ones.
If that is the way GV has been running their manufacturing standards, I'd rather get a clone. That shouldn't be the way to run a company, customer's expectations should be controlled and met. Me, as a consumer, would like to get a product and see all the parts there as advertised. /rant

Yeah I received the orange tool, pretty handy yo.

VH stopped replying once I asked for a refund  bruce.gif

You're supposed to get one clear and one frosted Bro (at least thats how it is for my BabyC and how the 24 pics on FT show the package). It's sounding more and more like a return... or an unfortunate lemon.

Firmware alert: v1.01 for the Pico is out, and NFirmwareEditor has been updated for it as well... so yeah, the baby Pico is now part of the Custom Firmware Club as well.

Sos: http://goo.gl/kmqlyQ

That said, the firmware docs is stamped 27/5 so it might already been out for a while lol.

Just tested NFE with the Pico bin and it works so far. Might just port one of the RX200 customs over if I got time.

From my end I can confirm VE are selling ori 'Cados (and other GV stuff). At least from what I can see of both the Baby and 24 versions at the branches I've been to.

Oh damn... plus extra slot grubs that MAY fit my Cado.

So, this (VeloV2) or the Tsunami 22 for flavour?

I believe is this https://www.fasttech.com/products/4483101, I recognized the box samiliar with tebeco I could be wrong gonna wait and find out. If you don't want the hassle head to altsmo to get the v2 from tebeco confirmed legit but only comes with SS.
*
Looks about the same... was looking at that exact one thinking when is anybody local gonna stock it. Most of the folks up at shopee have the square box non-tobeco no extra screws one unfortunately.

Might just get one for the extra grub screws. Hopefully they're the same screws as Velo1 - which should fit on my 'Cado wooo.

I wonder if the flavour on the Velo2 is at least as good as my 'Cado? I like the smiley look of it really, and from reviews so far the Velo2 should be a bit easier to work with compared to the Baby 'Nami (bigger well, roomier deck, no bottom flow business).

My VTC needs an actual dripper on it rather then my repurposed Fodi lol, and my old Magister is already stuck on the mech... soooooo...

Gotta say V1 is still the best one after all of shit, Man is already my everyday dripper and I can't move on to other tank/ dripper, I have the beastkit triple coils set up but seriously v1 still the best for me.  dual flat fuse clapton you are all set and ready to vape. I wish the v2 wil give me some some surprise. No problem will give you a review whether v1 or the v2 will out perform the old one.

perhaps get a clone cado can give him some extra screws instead of doing the guessing on which screws can be use or what not.
*
Was interested in them specifically being slotted, but as you guys have pointed out (and what limited GooFu I have has confirmed), they're not the same size. Heck, both the 'Namis don't share post screw sizes with the 'Cado either lol (the 'Namis surprisingly use Velo-sized screws).

Only way now is to order from vapingwalrus (if they would even post here ler) or to wait for FT to stock M2.5 slotted screws (they only have hex now). Or to just live with the bloody hexes.

That aside, the fact still remains that I need a lung flow dual coiler RDA for my VTC, at least one that performs as well (at flavor) what it's replacing (the Fodi, used as a dripper). And the V2 looks to be almost as hassle free as my 'Cado to build (at least to me) so that's that.

I have my MagisClone sure, but that one can be an absolute PITA to coil on.

Now it's a matter of getting the Beco V2 or some other V2 simply because the others are cheaper on Shopee. Just how much better is the Beco V2 (besides the abundance of spare screws)?

*goes back to GooFu-ing*

nekkidgramma And I haven't even posted the digs from the later 2014 trip yet pun lol. 10 days covering the entire island - epic rush that's for sure.

And yeah, apparently, circa 2014, the Japanese seem to be a bit... weary of vapers. And back than I was just rocking my mech and Taifun jer.

When I was there 2011 I was smoking so they didn't really GAF (though some were horrified at the Malaysian style shock dead babies on the cig packaging).

Just got my Beco VeloV2:

user posted image

Decent workmanship out of the box, a few "adjustments" quickly ironed out much of the issues I had with it lol.

How does it perform? No idea... still puasa-ing so haven't actually built anything on it yet lol.

But airflow wise I think I can get by with the Fodi driptip and the minimum airflow "robot smileyface".

Yep. And prices have been normalised so it's really about RM15-ish more expensive than FT minus the wait, which isn't that bad really.

Just go SS316L spaced coils. It works. I threw Ti and Ni200 away due to the hazard risk.
*
I'm running 316l contact dual coils for a while and so far no problems in TC mode... surprisingly. Haven't been kicked out of TC mode yet, running at 0.24.

This running on my Pico, which is just a wattage limited version of the RX200 board anyway. Can't say much about the TC accuracy though... I do know it's temp-limiting as it should and the vape does feel decent enough at 480f, 35w.

I shoot at 45W, 480F for dual SS 316L 4 wraps spaced clapton 3mm. Yeah, TC works well when spaced. I heard you are supposed to space the coil for TC.
*
IINM that's for Ni and Ti... though spaced does work slightly better for less accurate boards even with 316L, apparently.

Otherwise, seems contact SS for TC is fine... or so the Internets say. That said, they seem to also prefer 430 over 316 to begin with, so that's that.

On my end, 316L contact is doing decently enough so far on my Pico, though I'll try to get some 430 soon-ish to test if it really is "better" at TC.

Just sharing, if anybody's wondering about how the Sigelei 213W performs, from my fave Russian accented reviewer who actually tests stuff he reviews with actual multimeters and shiat lol.

(Fixxored, thanks to 6oLsh0i_6o0z3)

TL;DR: If you want 200w, you're prolly better off with the Cuboid (with properly rated batts of course)... or even betterer, the RX200 or any other decent DNA200 model.

And TC... err... doesn't really work as advertised.

A shame because (other than the whole "un-upgradable frimware" and fritzy TCR debacle... and now this) I kinda like the 213W. Was thinking I'd get one just for the extended battery life.

After this... I guess I'll just stick with carrying extra batts... or getting a Cuboid or sumthin.

Woah, what tank is that? 22mm? Velodecks?

Thanks for the tubey fixxors bruh. Edited my post to match.

EDIT: Found it - the Mage. 24mm (unfortunately for me and my Pico) and velodecks. Looks nice, though I've never really been a fan of chuffcaps myself lol.

Here's another pix for anybody interested:

On another note, still not at my work-base yet so no access to my beloved coilmaster yet (which means no build yet for the VeloV2). I mean I can stuff it with the SS spare coils I have for my 'Cado but I actually wanna run good olde kanthal in the V2 first.

Anyone knows where I can find the ori coil master kit? Been around a few shops only to see the cloned kit. Worst part was many of the shop operators tried to sell it to me as ori. I don't mind used kit of either v1 or v2 as my friend is the one that wants it.
*
Dunno really. I got mine a loooooooong time ago from FasTek.

Your best bet probably would be any VapeEmpire outlet, especially the better stocked ones like in SS15. IINM they are a CM agent (they had the ori CM Tab on sale last expo, amongst other CM things), and they should have at least one of the Coil Master full kits (one with the pliers and everything in a pouch) on sale.

But if you're just looking for the basic coiler kit, I'm not so sure.
