That means all 865 chipset will just be on partial PAT on ?

i think the reason why they flash is to get the PAT fully functioning. As only when 875 chipset comeout then we have this PAT thing. for Asus, p4p800 only partial PAT especially when the fsb is over 200. as i know if using 533fsb cpu then PAT is fully functional as long as not oc over than 200fsb. use tweak865 does enable partial PAT for 200++fsb.
i think most probably it is lo. maybe those manufacturer manage to find a way to trick the chipset to enable the PAT. By default, PAT is only available in 875 mobo. Then come out 865PE with PAT. i still looking for the information for this thing. haha...quite malu that i used s478 for years now only knows got the PAT hack.
haha..... this is a 2003 hot topic. now i just take it out goreng again...

Yea.. Guess that. Just checked my system using CTIAW and found that my PAT was disabled.

So sad, so the only way to enable it is just by flashing in a modded bios? Hm.. Read some reviews, and most of them are say the same thing. PAT only enable when FSB = 200, everything more then 200 will get it be disable.
Haha. Not just you malu.. Even though myself also felt the same thing. Hm.. Didnt know about about old school yet. Btw, just changed my GC to 9800PRO and did a 3Dmark03. Only score 7.1+k. Is that normal?

Abit side track i know.. Sorry!
