Alooha guys! Finally got a time to switch off the pc and take out the ram for indentification! Was busy for exam recently.

Anyways, these are the information i manage to from my rim.

Kingston 256MB x2 kit is:

Hynix 256MB x2 kit is:

Anyone can identify the ram chip for me? As for the hynix, i suppose its using D43 chip since its written of the surface. But for the kingston, is it using TCCC chipset? And what is TCCC?

Edit: Oh yea. Currently was running the ram on 2.5-3-3-6 timing @ 277Mhz speed.

Oh yea. Yup.. @ 227mhz speed. Because my ram and procs retio is 1:1. So i doubt the ram speed is equal to the procs FSB. And double comfirmed with CPU also. But anyways, is just 256mb kit. I plan to upgrade to 512mb. Planning to go for HyperX.

Wow.. Nice monsta cooler! Haha! Bigger then my Hyper6+! Maybe tidy up ya casing and wire can help reduce few degree of ya temp! Mine full load hit around 46-50'c with 15% OC.

Btw guys, i got some question wana ask. Its about GC. Im currently planning to put a final boost on my rigs. Plan to change my GC to either Galaxy 7900GS Zalman Edition or XFX7800GS Extreme. but i wander will my procs bottlenecking the card? P4 3.0E now @ 3.45Ghz..

Really..? So bad.. My GC upgrading bubble gone! So, as if i wanna get this card, i gota push more juice from my current procs to support the GC?

Hm.. Do consider before, but seems hard to get at my place for the AGP version. Because i plan to put a final boost for my current rigs before i upgrade it. Or perhaps will using this rig until the last day of their life spent.
Its the only way to push my procs in oder to match the 78/79 Series? Hm.. So bad.

Btw, im having problems with going beyond 3.45Ghz now. Anyone know whats the problem? I've loosing the ram timing from previous 2.5-3-3-6 to 3-4-4-8 in order to hit 3.52Ghz, but my system failed after 5mins of orthors with priority 9. PC restarting. Tried 4 times, all 4 time same thing happened.

Just home from work! LOL! Oh yea.. Do consider before lower range gc. But cos it will gona be mine last boost for current rig ma, so plan to get something good. But not sure current system can support or nt.

Yup.. 3.45Ghz is perfectly normal. Run on this speed for pass 3 months and nothing happen. Prime with Orthos with Gromacs core @ priority 9 for 12hrs plus still alive. But just thing get mess up when i push another 5mhz.

Ic.. Thanks for telling kabukiawie. Will try to adjust abit later on. Hehe.. 3.0E dead at 3.45Ghz..? I think this procs should be can go further then 3.4ghz.

Oh yea ray, i was running on default vdimm. 2.8v at this moment. didnt touch the vcore and vdimm yet. So, how much do i need to adjust? 0.5v? Heh.. First time touch vdimm and vcore, so better ask before do.

lol.. Im temporary working at pc shop, i spotted the Galaxy 7900GS Standard version dealer price only 5xx. Thats y i plan to grab it lo.. for 76 series.. 4xx can get already lo!

Weird... Guess is my cap-palang PSU (i-Cute) cos the restarting. Test 2 time just now. With 3.52Ghz, 2.5-3-3-6 ram timing, 2.85 Vdimm setting. Prime 1st time 2mins after AUTOMATICALLY pc restarting with any notice or warning, and no error detected during priming process.

2nd time, same setting. 7mins after prime PC restart AUTOMATICALLY agian. Gosh.. Guess is the power supply not stable. Right? Correct me if im wrong.

Hm.. The 7900GS is 256mb vr, not the 512mb version. Galaxy type. From what i read from the list, is come with galaxy fan, so i assume is the standard version. Not the Zalman version. At where i find the price? Haha.. At my current working place lo. Saberkas.. Need place order for that card. Due they dont keep stock.

Edit: Should be THIS 7900GS from Galaxy if im not mistaken.

bro, ur having the same procs as i do. How was the performance? Change setting and bios and AI booster ask you u restart? U sure u change at bios ar? Got save the setting? Haha..

Haha.. Pals i think u need more power for ya system lo. Ur using 350Wright? Seems it wasnt enough to feed ya rigs. Try get a higher watt UPS and try.. See how it perform. I was stucked at 3.45Ghz due my stupid iCute UPS cannot provide stable voltage.

Hey guys, how much mhz do u guys up ea time for OC? I found something weird about my rigs. Previously i was up 5mhz ea time for OC, but that cause my rigs stuck at 3.45ghz and being unstable when go beyond that.

But now, i try with up 2mhz ea time and run priming after get into load. My system seems stable. Could prime for 5hrs long without error and restart. Just wander, izit up too much FSB at a time will cause system unstable?

Hm.. I not sure whats happening. But seems i could reach 3.5Ghz by slowly increasing the FSB. If jump from big gaps, sure the system get crazy. Btw, both ram was running on D43 chips and same timing. Now hitted 3.5Ghz without problem..

LOL.. It wasnt a good "practice" anyways. Takes alot of time.. Just like testing patient. Up 1 or 2 mhz then load into windows, run pcmark05 to ensure the system is fine. And then repeat the same step agian.. Wish could hit 3.6Ghz or more..

Hehe.. Yea! I'm pushing my procs in this way now. Push by a little big and then run priming or CPU burn in program. Take me lotsa time to push the procs. But for me, it worth the time i spent. Hehe.. Hope can hit my target. 3.8Ghz..

Wow.. Is that true? Haha.. I was on my mind of getting a 7900GS at the moment. Btw, 78 and 79 are almost same card right? Just the 79 having more pixel unit. Anyone here using Galaxy 7600GT? I had seen the review for this unit.. Seems not bad.. If my procs cant hit 3.6G above i might will consider this card.

Weird.. My ram timing was on 1:1 ratio. Maybe need to tighten more. Currently running on 2.5-3-3-8. Will to tighten it to 2.5-3-3-6 and see how. I tried with CL 2 before, end up my pc cannot boot. Need to reset bios.

Ic.. Thank shinjite for the reminder. Hehe.. Im currently running stable on 2.5-4-4-6. Which my superPI for 512kb is 17s and 1M is 41. Increase by 1s if compare with previous. Seems tighten the timing do increase the PI score but also make my system become unstable. Tonight will try will CL3 and see hows the result. Now at work place cannot try.

Yea.. Tried with CL2 on my system and end up with system cannot boot up. I guess my ram was one of problem beside my cap palang UPS. Guess is time to change ram! Hehe.. Do HyperX does good job?
