at least yours is a 19" CRT thats nice and big

i think you can still change ur casing now and when you upgrade to C2D just move the parts into the new casing that's what i plan to do.haha.


damnit guyz im stuck at 2.52Ghz.cant go higher already.tried 2.61Ghz and came out BSOD after awhile in desktop. its either my bios settings or my 6800GS sucking up too much power

i doubt i'll go to vista anytime soon.not much of a difference for me and still alot of incompatibility with softwares.

yeah.i think that my old msi mobo is way better then this p4p800x.was rock stable with almost all at default values but clocked at 2.82ghz and i've already changed the TIM on the northbridge heatsink.

ps.just installed my Ultra90 + 90mm Evercool LED fan and the temps went down to 34c idle from 38c

will try to push higher soon.but my mobo temp is worrying me.now im gettin like 38c

last time b4 using this ultra90 the temps reached a low of 33c and average 35c dont know whats happening.could it be the hot ambient temp of my room?

yeah thats what i thought at first..dang looks like my Aero4 actually did more then just hsf cooling

ps.this temps is with the side panel left open. i've noticed that lately my ambient temp has risen quite alot

havent tried yet,will put it back later..sigh.i guess that's the price to pay for using those kind of hsf.

now im scared to oc my comp,knowing that the temps are quite high already

i've just tried to close my sidepanel and it wont close the Ultra90 is blocking it.that's if i have a fan on the side panel lah.

damnit now my GPU ambient temps are higher then usual.heck,my whole PC's temp is higher then usual

it wont close if i put the fan on the inside of the panel lah but if i put it ouside then can but the fan placement is directly above the ultra90

yeah im planning to get a new casing soon..maybe a TT Amour Jr. or a Gigabyte 3D Aurora

maybe you could try to reduce the stress on ur pc by changing to a lower end pcie card first if you have one?

yeah ventilation problem.damnit. so far now cpu and mobo temps are stable at 35c.could it be the hot weather last night

im using some brandless casing too my bro bought it last time for rm130 iirc

for that proc it should be around the range of rm300+-

just found out that my full load temps are 39c

and i just found out that i can put another 80mm fan below the sidepanel's fan hole

so now i have a 80mm fan down there and an intel stock fan on the 80mm fan hole

well my this rig survived for 4 years already.with dual core and 2gb ram shoud'nt be a problem to last another 4 years.with some upgrades lah of course

hmm..should be that lah right. i myself dint notice much difference between auto and enabled.

even with slight oc my mobo's nb heatsink feels quite hot maybe thats why i couldnt push my proc higher

actually all our P4 systems still can go on for a long time..as long as you're not doing any really intense gaming lah.like all those new games eg.crysis,prey etc

even now my 2.4 is bottlenecking my 6800GS

buy another proc ah..i feel like its abit wasting lah now those s478 procs that are 3Ghz and above are all rm300 and above.xpensive leh.

might as well tahan awhile and then upgrade to C2D

pity my 6800GS cant show its full potential.XD
