This thread talked about it. If you care to read. Basically it's an issue where the foreground isn't in focus and background is. There a few more which I lost track as I read them long before I got the phone.

The issue wasn't confirmed officially so no one really know what's going on. If it's jpeg processing I'm expecting foreground and background are equally blurred.

Anyone encounter phone freeze in camera mode? all selection gone, a "0" on top gallery at bottom right, home button cannot function, only power button works.

If its really the focus distance issue then its hardware di. Admitedly i dont take much selfie nor do i have an s6 to compare with.

Fortunately, I don't take much selfie either but occasionally friends gathering prove the selfie really handy (especially wide selfie).

I think most people who don't have s6 or s7e demo unit to test with, the selfie camera works absolutely fine! Perhaps that's why most people don't realise it.

S6 edge selfie take as good of picture as older generation main (rear) camera, perhaps as good as my old s3 8mp main camera (with better colour reproduction).

Bought cheap matte screen protector (non fully cover version) that came together with back matte protector, mod a bit the opening and stick on the Ringke Fusion back case.
Felt much better without oil and fingerprints. Too bad the opening a bit messy.

I screwed up, didn't select merge android archive the first time, end up with all old messages from iphone and no new messages. Lucky managed to restored from gdrive after deleting all db files. But now wazzupmigrator cannot find msgdbstore on andoid to merge... waiting for reply from app developer..
