2. budget: cheapest available with nfc(<rm1000?), may stretch a bit if needed.
3. specs: must have nfc read/write function
4. others: cheapest value for money that have nfc. should be durable. good speed may help. dont care about camera, screen size. main use is for nfc read/write only.

Samsung Galaxy J7. Should be below RM1k. The Sony Xperia XA also got NFC.

If flagships. Import sets of MI5 32GB have NFC too.

if you want Pure Vanilla Android with NFC. Is either go with Nexus 5X (if you still can find one) or OnePlus One (2014 flagships killer)

yeah....but how about redmi note 4?

probably camera not as good as Mi5. But still capable for day to day usage. I havent hands on RM Note 4 before. So I can't comments much about it.
U can buy from SenHeng Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 local sets on 1st of April that come with 1+2 warranty.

I have a current target, which is Xiaomi Mi Max, just checking if there is any better model in the same price range, with the following criteria, before I commit:

1. Brand. (any)
2. Budget. (800 to 1000)
3. Specs. (Any)
4. What you need in the phone, from highest priority to least:
Battery life (2 days 1 night with mostly browsing/chat)
Good support on ROM (future proofing on android version)
Size is bigger or at least Samsung Note 2 size
Camera is better than Note 2

I am currently using a pretty old Samsung Note 2 (~4 years), with screen crack and failing wifi. Need a new phone that can last me another 3 to 4 years.

I found a RM 940 for 3GB RAM 64GB memory from Lazada/T&L Telecom, LINK. Any comments on seller & price?

I am also looking for one with ability to use Daydream/Cardboard, not sure if there is any special requirement for this.

Oh well, that Mi Max is best bang for bucks, but if you need a better camera, you have to go for Redmi Note 3 Pro (SD650) or Redmi Note 4 (SD625).
Because Mi Max never advertise on the camera department. Only performance and battery life.
