1. Will 32GB of Mi5 enough for your usage? It was non-expandable by MicroSDCard. OnePlus One was 64GB.

2. Buy from Huawei MY is better than AP sets of Huawei, because Huawei MY offer glass break warranty. AP don't.

Hi guys, I wanna get a phone for my dad. He always look for 2nd phones around 300 but complains after few month that it lags/hangs etcetc. So I thought of getting a new one for him so at least it will last a year or two.

Get him (local sets) Redmi 4A or (AP sets) Redmi 3S (3GB+32GB)
Samsung maybe can't get a good lagless hardware for that budget. U just missed the sales last year Redmi Note 3 Pro (2GB+16GB)

Is quite hard for the budget you got. Only one come into my mind is (local set) Honor 5X. But no 32GB/3GB RAM, only dualsim + micro SD.
The only nearest come to your requirement is the (AP sets) Motorola G4 Plus which price at RM1199. Got 3GB+32GB and DualSIM and MicroSD (dedicated)
