Anyone encountered C2-12828-1 error code during game play before?

I was playing Accel World vs SAO on my slim vita2, well, i played for awhile then left it untouched after downloaded since its release... then only came back to it last few days, which gave me whoppin' 300+MB of update.. just as I updated and played the game with new DLC contents too... I started getting this error message after a minute or two into gameplay pretty much everytime, longest i tried playing without error was barely 10min then i stopped...

Thing is, I never encounter this on my psv1 (w/ different psn account) though... i found some online sources mentioned hack might contribute, but i am still using OFW, and unaware of development of vita hack...

Does it happens to all the games or only the ones you mentioned? Or maybe your Vita needs to be updated to the latest 3.65 firmware to play the game. Do note that updating your PS Vita won't allow it to return back to older firmware version.

FW updated.
just those I mentioned... anyway, I deleted and re-download this game... started fresh and doing fine so far, but then i haven't tried long enough to find out if it's fixed... guess it could be corrupted during the update...

I'm not sure if it's possible over here, but there could be. When you sent for repair, just ask the store owner/technician if they can install larger battery inside there for longer battery life. smile.gif

There are people here who reported it as good iirc. But a fast and stable internet connection is a must, probably with fibre optics internet connection.

I see, from my reading on the internet, the Vita is always the best way to remote play, even compared to smartphones & tablets. I can't say I've read the review regarding remote play on PC though. Marc the geek is one of the youtuber that likes to post videos on youtube regarding his remote play sessions, do check his video out. smile.gif

Would like to check with PS Vita user here. If i intend to use remote play in my house (i have a PS4).

My PS4 is at ground floor living room connected to my router using a wired connection. My router is located on the 1st floor. If i intend to connect my PS Vita wirelessly to my router from my bedroom on the 1st floor, will the connection be smooth?

Another question, say I am using remote play can my pS4 still be used for my family members to watch Netflix on TV?

Sorry Noob questions here before I buy a PS Vita

I do hope someone with actual experience using Remote Play responds.
I sadly, don't have a PS4 to test.

The only possible (practical) way to connect PS Vita to the router, is via wireless connection. And how good the reception is probably based on the router's ability to transmit and receive. If the range is good, it should be possible.

Regarding Netflix, yes, it should be. Unless they're watching Netflix on the PS4.

I do advice to to clearly understand your requirement before buying. Because PS Vita isn't having the best of attention from Sony currently, so I wouldn't want you to regret it.

my main purpose of buying vita is remote play, so far it never disappoint me.

the streaming quality is good when ps4 is connecting with wired rather than wireless.

and ur vita is mirroring ur ps4 screen, so cant do 2 task at a time.

recently keep grinding diablo 3 while waiting to remote play ff 12 zodiac age in july icon_rolleyes.gif

Haha, I see I see. You can try with your phone first I think. If it's good, then, probably no need to invest on a new device? Else, probably the safest and best bet would be the PS Vita. I would recommend the 2000 model since easier to charge around but you might be interested with the 1000 model's screen. smile.gif

If you are certain it's the battery... what you can do before sending to workshop is, disassemble it yourself by looking at Youtube tutorial, unplug the battery and waited for few minutes then plug it back. See if the battery status went to normal, or else...

The reason saying this was I had issue with my PSV1 2 years ago, which the battery drained so fast or so i thought, and as i charged over night, the low battery warning would still show up when I only played for 1hour+... since my warranty was no longer valid, i just looked up online for instruction, and also out of curiosity, pull apart the device, check its interior, unplug and plug the battery connector... guess what, the low battery warning was back to normal, it only shows up after 3~4 hours gameplay, although the battery life has dropped noticeably compared to 4~5 hrs when it's new. But isn't as annoying, and still maintain good gameplay hour till this date, but i must say i cut down my gameplay frequency now. BTW, just take precaution step as you disassemble it if you plan to try the luck, the electronics inside are quite sensitive to static discharge or sweat or water dropplet any that may potentially fry the circuit...

P/S: the previous battery abnormality was deduced to my habit of playing the game till it's running low on power, then plug power cord in and continue playing, or just charge in sleep mode... I was sure these series of action resulted in that weird behavior, as after I "restored" it to normal, i never play game during charging, and turn it off too, or I just totally stop playing when i notice power level drop to the minimal before red battery signal and low battery warning show up... never had this happened again since.
