Well, you should try some other games then. If Persona 4 Golden is your favorite game on PSV, I believe there are other RPGs available for you to try, but most of them are multi-platform games though.

You can use regular/quick smartphone chargers though. If yours is the orginal (1000) model, simply buy a USB to PSV cable to charge and do data transfer for it.

Well, the game should have no issues to be played. Only the DLCs will not be available I think. I do hope online play is available with different region games.

still too early to say...

it has some two new weapons (as the game package stated) and it's open map...
u can straight go outside wifout loading...going from own room to outside town also does not required loading...
though when u have accepted a quest, going outside will require loading...
same goes after u completed a quest and it need to load for story acting...

similar monsters encountered for now...the imp, the big worm, the fire heads, ok maybe a new mini boss - like a giant bloated imp...
new NPCs, new story settings (but similar plot iinm) - been awhile i last played Toukiden: The Age of Demon.

the character creation is kinda huge & details - lots of faces, eyes, hairs, etc to choose.
u can even set how big your chest to be...
maybe it's as detail as The Sims character creation

there's this Demon Hand thing...a new mechanic...but i'm not quite sure how to really use it for now...
and bcoz it's open map, u can speedrun now...faster than the normal sprint...

oh u can also now set commands to your NPC ally...
whether they shud defend, atk, or whatever...

I enjoyed the original Toukiden. Gameplay is simple but not as simple as the Warriors' series.
The graphics of the original Toukiden is pretty amazing too, it's definitely far better than Ragnarok Odyssey and sharper/finer/crisper than Soul Sacrifice.

The open-worldness of them game do seems a little odd from your explanation, which is the same from the previous review I saw. It doesn't seem like it was done properly since rather than loading, it should've allowed instant travelling to quest spot (or nearby area).

I'm actually sold for the game, but still thinking whether I should buy and play it first or finish Freedom Wars first since I already have that for quite some time. -.-"

take note there's also a PC (Steam) version...

price is competitive
though u lost the portability of the psvita...

and u may need a controller...


i accepted a quest to kill the ManHunter (a bloated imp)
but it is located at a special small size map. not at the open world map and it require loading.

and so far - dun see any hngghh NPC like in Toukiden 1 - the archer girl...

Well, it won't be the same playing it on PC compared to PS Vita. The portability is key as I can bring it anywhere around the house to play. Also, my personal laptop simply won't turn on right now, so it isn't a choice anyway.

I believe they shouldn't do that (placing a quest within a separate special map). That is the design for the previous non-open world Toukiden. With the new open-world map, they should've inherited the mechanics for it too. But hey, this is their first attempt to an open-world game, and I'm kinda biased towards Tecmo-Koei's Omega Force studio.

Maybe "Hngggghhhh" NPC will come later in the game. Or they've changed how they make women in videogame, such as in a recent game *cough *mass *cough *effect

on a plus side there is still the Pool of Purity - so make sure u play as a female slayer to allow u to join the bathing session wif a female NPC

wandering around the open-world map wif 4 NPCs feels like playing MMO...

but here's the bad part depending how u look at it - when there's mob or especially encountering big Oni
all four NPCs will rush to it and keep on spamming attacks..
in that chaos of attacks, u will also join in and spam your attacks as well...

and i think one of the NPC has the freezing/electrocuting skills...causing the big Oni to jus frozen still and letting five of us gang raping it...
in jus a minute or two - it'll just goes down wifout much fight...

compare to when i fight a Big Oni by myself - it took me ard 20mins+ and two deaths...

so it become like a dumbdown spamming game...

and the four NPC follows me on their own accord when i venture out to the open world...
if i take a quest from the counter and venture out to a limited access map, i can choose which NPC to follow me or i go lonewolf style...

You can't set the NPC's behaviour is it? Last time I thought we can set them to be defensive/passive. If such is the case, then the allied NPC seems to be not too intelligent.

Maybe you're quite early in the game, because from my experience, our NPC buddies are usually only overpowered early in the game and get less obtrusive later until becoming dummy target around end-game or post-end-game.

yes, u can set the 'Command' for the NPC behaviour. but i dun quite understand that..currently all default to 'FRE' whatever that means...

i wish they dun follow me at all...
or just the pretty one...

I don't understand that either, but maybe you can change and see how they behave afterwards. The FRE could possibly aggressive from your explanation.

Haha, sadly it isn't the player's choice to do just that. I do hope you still manage to enjoy it much though.

sometimes my psvita has some sort of graphic defect... then the system will crash and require hard reset...

Huhu, something is probably wrong there.

Before buying a new one, you might one to try :
1) Free method : Open it up yourself, and see if anything weird present on the board. The guides would be over here, and you may use their image as comparison on what I meant by anything weird.

Anyone encountered C2-12828-1 error code during game play before?

I was playing Accel World vs SAO on my slim vita2, well, i played for awhile then left it untouched after downloaded since its release... then only came back to it last few days, which gave me whoppin' 300+MB of update.. just as I updated and played the game with new DLC contents too... I started getting this error message after a minute or two into gameplay pretty much everytime, longest i tried playing without error was barely 10min then i stopped...

Thing is, I never encounter this on my psv1 (w/ different psn account) though... i found some online sources mentioned hack might contribute, but i am still using OFW, and unaware of development of vita hack...
