I guess the cycle is stabilize now and on normal usage I probably need to charge once a day LOL.

Ya. I can see that. That's why i asked. Are you openning whatsapp on screen all the time? The more you read and type in whatsapp, the higher percentage you drain in the whatsapp part. That's how I see it. Mind to tell us how you use your whatsapp daily?

I removed my sp for my s3 and s5 and will never put one on my s7. Screen doesnt hv the clarity. So far no problems at all.

But casing is different. I will still use one because it gives me the extra grip. Nearly dropped the phone cause it was too slippery. So I always get a rubbery one rather thn a plastic one. IMO

I use the web browser and email more than whatsapp.. just need a few seconds to read whatsapp msg, and another few seconds to reply.. there are probably just 2 active whatsapp groups.. i said whatsapp probably drain my battery was because the battery drain is kinda paculiar today, since i enable whatsapp last night.. or maybe other app running in background

I see. Then it's weird. Since the phone is still fairly new, the battery should be in tip top condition. The battery usage won't lie to you. If it indicated the whatsapp is using a huge percentage of battery, then it is.

I am not an expert in this area. But i suspect that it was caused by the mobile radio active bug. If you use 3G/4G (data network) all the time while using whatsapp, there's a big chance that this bug is causing a huge drain in background. It's a well known bug in lollipop. But not sure if this already fixed in MM.

If you have chance, may be you can switch to wifi, and keep using your whatsapp in the same manner & pattern. See if there's any change. If the whatsapp battery drain is reduced significantly, then I think the culprit is the data network.

Just installed glastimate tempered glass and the top left edge become less sensetive. Need to put more pressure to register touch. Top left cracked after put it into gear vr.

Whatsapp group does drain battery quite seriously even on my S6e. There was once where a friend passed away and I was added to the group. The bombardment of 2k++ messages over the next 60minutes drain my battery like hell.

Update:

And I didnt even read them... it just keep buzzing only... the temp was like when using Fast Charger to charge the phone.

After installing my right part of the phone become less sensitive. Have to press repeatedly a few times before it registers my touch. 100 bucks down the drain...
